Is this a symptom of not allocating enough ram to curseforge for minecraft?

Is this a symptom of not allocating enough ram to curseforge for minecraft?

Had this issue twice now, both times playing a pretty decently heavy modpack (250+). Never had ram stability issues or any crashes like this before using curseforge for minecraft on this pc and it only happens when running these packs, so it's 100% related to this app.

Packs I've had this happen on are deceasedcraft and z apocalypse, both one time. For deceasedcraft I had I think 6gb allocated, for z apoc I had 4. I absolutely am capable of allocating more (and likely will), I just want to check and see if anyone can confirm offhand if that is the correct approach.

Looking for an upgrade for my Pro XRs that can improve on some of complaints with the XRs

My issues I have with my Pro XRs is three things:

  1. The biggest issue by far is that the right arm gets very warm after 45-60 minutes of use. Hot enough that it blistered my ear the first time I wore them a long time ago and now I always wear them with a small piece of felt as a cushion, and even then it's noticably warm. I am curious if newer models avoid this pitfall (or maybe I just got a defective pair and never realized lol)

  2. No matter how far I press the glasses to my face, either the top middle or the bottom two corners of the screen are ever so slightly cutoff. The viewport for the screen through the physical glasses isn't big enough to show the entire screen for me and it's a bit bothersome.

  3. There is significant blurring towards the very edges of the screen that can't be fixed unless I tolerate some bluriness in the center of the screen. I would like a more consistent picture quality.

I've done research and it seems that the Viture Beast might be a good bet, but the XREAL One Pro might be better specifically for the heat issue I have. Any suggestions?

Marrow is a fantastic Eternal and I love it

The key to understanding Marrow is that it fills a very, very specific niche. It's not for glass cannons, it's not for brusiers, it's not for defensive or supporting players, it is an Eternal designed for aggressive tank players. Marrow thrives on an up in your face playstyles for heroes that do a lot of area damage around themselves.

Between stuff like Leech and The Maw you can be incredibly oppressive in the solo lane. Roses is a way to boost your farm up if you don't have much waveclear. Taste of Iron and Jealousy are both great ways to boost your damage if you need it (and you can very easily proc Taste of Iron constantly by having purchasing Fire Blosson).

Scaling bonuses like this that boost their power at low health are always better on tanky heroes because their durability alllows them to better benefits from the bonuses at low health. Squishy heroes can get blown away and never benefit from the bonuses at maximum strength. Even brusiers I would argue often aren't tanky enough to really abuse how strong the healing is at low health if they focus mostly on building damage. If you build tons of durability you can get huge benefits from the low health omnivamp and you become incredibly hard to bring down.

I have been running basically nothing but Marrow on Akeron for a several matches now (after tinkering with it in the past) and even after the buffs adding dual scaling to make him work better with Nihil I still like Marrow more. The survivability is incredible and if you get a single kill you can easily sustain long enough to follow through on a second or even third kill.

Can't believe this combo wasn't touched, this has gotta be the most boring thing they've added to the game in years

Literally just "hit faster and harder". Out of all the cool stuff they added and all the weird combos I can't believe this is something that exists in this system.

Endurance Tonic is bugged and still reads 50% Tenacity

Despite Tenacity being changed to a stat like ability haste, Endurance Tonic didn't get the memo and got left behind in the changes. Very sad.

Y'all are sleeping on the Exarch Eternal

Despite the initial appearance that Exarch is a peasant Eternal for mere support players to dabble in, the reality of this eternal is much interesting than that. You see, Exarch comes with this wonderful little side blessing called Fervour. Fervour reads:

Basic Attacks against Enemy Heroes heal you and Allies with 1,000 Units for 2 (+0.5 per level)(6% Magical Power).

That's a pretty spicy meatball

This means that every single time you basic attack an enemy hero you heal yourself, all nearby allies, and activate the Exarch blessing of bonus attack speed and magic damage on-hit for everyone you heal including yourself.

This on top of the Preservation blesing that increases the healing and shielding you receive by 15% means that you can slap this bad boy on a bruiser, dabble in a couple of magic items (maybe Prophecy and Orion) and boom, you have a remarkably self sustaining brawler build ready to go that can be slapped onto any hero that you choose, they don't even need self healing/shielding because of Fervour.

I've been running this on Akeron to start me off, but boy oh boy do I have plans to try this on a few other heroes, maybe even some ranged ones.

Roar of Torment desperately needs buffs after Akeron's ult nerfs in 1.12

For those that don't play Akeron

Roar of Torment: Consume (his ult) now Pushed instead of Pulls and deals 200% increased tick damage, but no longer bite.

This augment used to be the core of magical Akeron, a build I came up with that sought to maximize the damage Akeron could deal from range with his ult and fireball. It would leave him very squishy but also able to deal ridiculous amounts of aoe damage. Link for example.

This all came to a close when, in 1.12, Akeron's Consume was nerfed to only have 5% magical scaling down from 10% and a mere 15/20/25 tick damage down from 20/30/40. Both of these changes butchered this build and made this augment worthless to take. Even with the same build I ran before and the new Eternals it still does pathetic damage, hardly worth the loss of the utility from Death From Above.

I can understand why Akeron's ult damage was nerfed, but the augment desperately needs better numbers to compensate, it was already barely ever picked on the hero, and the glass cannon style of play was so much fun. Even doubling the augment from 200% to 400% seems like a reasonable change to me to bring it back to about where it used to be.

Will hero augments and items that overlap with Eternals' effects be changed in the future?

For instance, Thraex's Ferocity blessing is very similar to Serath's infinite stabbing aspd augment, or Thraex's major blessing is functionally the same as Feng Mao's Imperial Duelist augment. Vesh's Phyalctery is also very similar to Truesilver Bracelet (though in that case there is a mechanical change of no CC immunity). I understand that changing them this patch is too much of a hurdle, but are there any plans to look at them in the future?
