Flying blue redemption on West Jet includes checked bags?

I booked YVR to YYZ on West Jet using Flying blue points. Both my reservation and the person I later spoke to on the phone from Flying Blue confirmed that there are no checked bags included, only 1 carry on per person.

So I was using the West Jet app to purchase one checked bag and it kept defaulting to 1 bag and when I tried to add a bag, it showed two. I was confused because even on the app it showed I have no checked bags included in the fare so I bought it. Now the confirmation shows me and my flying companion already had 1 included checked bag each and I have now paid for an additional prepaid(that I don't need)!! So 3 checked bags. How can I verify if this is correct that I have 2 free checked bags? And is there a way to refund the 3rd one I bought? Hope this makes sense, can't upload a picture of the confirmation

Has anyone used the Amex lounge at Rogers Stadium?

It says 1 cardholder plus guest in the terms but the reservations allowed me to reserve for more than 2 people? Is it because they're assuming we have multiple Amex cardholders? Was trying to have a group of 3 go in.

Those living near Brentwood- do you feel like the skytrain has gotten louder in the last couple months?

Specifically referring to Lougheed near Rosser Ave. I've been trying to ignore it but noticed the last couple months, it feels like the skytrain has gotten louder- almost like a freight train, lots of reverberation noise as it passes by, more rumbling than I had noticed in the past 5 years. Does anyone else notice this or is it my imagination?

BYOD 100 GB US Select plan from Boxing Day has increased by $6 already

Is this the norm? I signed up with Bell for the BYOD $35 special around Boxing Day through Best Buy. The rate of the plan at that time was $55 minus the $10 bill credit and $10 autopay credit. I had heard that Bell will randomly increase the plan price but didn't expect it to happen in barely 6 months. Has this happened to anyone else? Wondering if there's anything I can do about it.

Does anyone know the timings of the fan march to the stadium for the Algerian and Swiss teams tomorrow?

Been looking online but haven't found any posts yet about the routes or times. Would love to watch!

Does the FanFest at the PNE have a capacity limit? Looking for something family friendly for Sunday June 28 to watch the Canada game.

Wondering if there'll be big lineups and potentially not get in. Trying to watch from a side stage, don't need to be in the amphitheatre. I'm thinking PNE will have the largest capacity out of other family friendly venues like Granville island?

Waterproof backpack that is good for commuting in Vancouver

Hi all, I'm starting a new job where I'll be skytraining downtown and then either taking a bus or walking. I haven't commuted via transit in many years.

I want to get a small-mid size waterproof backpack that can hold my lunch, small fanny pack (will serve as my purse), umbrella. I won't be needing room for a laptop or any devices and I plan to leave my water bottle at work cause it's heavy or carry a small one.

Trying to find something that isn't too heavy or too much of a black hole trying to get to stuff and that has supportive shoulder straps with a bit of cushion, not too flimsy. I prefer something that looks more commuter/stylish than too athletic but I'm open to all suggestions because I also need comfort!!

Thank you!

What is the SkyTrain commute like these days from Burnaby (Millenium- Brentwood) to downtown (Expo-Burrard/Granville)?

Haven't taken the SkyTrain for work in many years. Looking at a job where I would take the Millennium line from Brentwood to Commercial, switch to Expo and then arrive to Burrard/Granville. I'd then have to take a bus such as 002 or 044 a few blocks (or walk 20 mins). This would be to arrive for an 8am or 830am start time and leave work at 430 or 5pm.

Should I expect that it'll be hard to get onto a train at Broadway after switching from Millenium line and vice versa on the way home at Commercial? Are there frequently delays with the trains? How is it when it gets wet and rainy or hot in summer?

And are those bus lines popular ones in the mornings? Saw that they come frequently but wondering if they get full easily.

Thank you!!!
