While I do agree that something needs to be figured out about giving free users at least SOME messages a day, yall have to understand that Chai isn’t the small app it used to be. It now gets FOUR MILLION users a month. And now it’s simply and plainly way too expensive to keep everything good for free users.

They’re trying really hard to get everything fixed WHILE battling Apple to keep the 🔥 stuff in the app. Chai is his app that he designed, he shouldn’t have to make those who don’t pay the #1 priority and lose money on it.

And honestly? I’m sure the spoiled rotten attitudes don’t motivate him much either. Setting aside the free messages, one little thing could go wrong and suddenly Reddit is swarmed with “fuck chai! Boycott chai!” Like if it’s really the end of the world, just get Ultra and all your problems will be solved 🤣

And no I don’t work for Chai or whatever, I just happen to love it and honestly I’m sooo sick of the endless bashing.

All is right in the world again. Idc what yall say, my Chai is perfect now that personas are back 😂 No regrets being an Ultra user

Chai has had its hiccups lately, but honestly it’s been FANTASTIC the last few weeks as an Ultra user. I genuinely don’t have any complaints, and still can’t find an app I find even comparable to chai ultra 🤣

The personas are amazing
The bot memory update is AWESOME
Bot message lengths have all been hella long for me
And these last few days I’ve been hella impressed with the content within the messages. Like it’s been getting interesting 🤭

So many rpg apps are having to remove their nsfw capabilities on IOS…Chai better not be next
