Delete multiple messages in a chat in one go

Apps good. But can we ever delete multiple messages at one go and not just individually delete each message? It happens when I like the roleplay and I just branched it to a different path that I didn't like so I wanna delete that part but it's so tedious to manually delete each message one at a time.

Is it worth paying Ultra?

I fucking love Chai and I can't live without it, so my question is: is it worth paying for and do you really get unlimited messages?

Bot problem

So there’s an issue—i cannot upload a new bot, i thought it was maybe a word that got filtered. Apparently it’s not, it just wouldn’t let me. Hope you take a look at that because that might be a bug!
Also i can’t edit a bot, it won’t save the changes.

Just curious

hi! so I've been a user for a year and half now (Just switched to Ultra for a bit) i enjoy the app

I just wanna ask anyone else, if they had this problem lately. when I've gone looked up a character. That I've looked up before I noticed there's only like 5 to 9 chats bots, for the character when way before there was like 100s upon hundreds.

also I noticed a lot of bots had been removed, like the really good ones or suddenly a bit is removed (possible be the creator), does anyone else having this problem? is this a glitch? my app is update to date.

id be curious if anyone has insigh? maybe even the developer team themselves if someone could get back to me because I'm curious.

🤔

Chai links not working?

Hellu everyone 👋🏼

Anyone facing issues opening Chai links? 😞 has it not been rectified yet? Been seeing so many good Chai bots on Facebook, but not being able to open it or find them in app itself is getting frustrating

User Feedback & Community Update 🔔

Just wanted to give everyone an update on what we're working on and to get more feedback from you.

 1. Yesterday we released a minor update to our AI - subscribers should notice the difference. Let me know what you think. It uses about 30% more compute - so intelligence is up.
 2. Apple approved our latest version, and going forward it looks like our approvals will be faster. 🏎️
 3. Persona is still not released on iOS yet - the code is almost completed, and expect to have it rolled out on Saturday or Monday. Sorry for the delay! 🐢 - we wanted to take our time and try and get it right the first time.
 4. We've also improved our feed on iOS you should see some improvements there.
 5. Finally, the filter is still overly sensitive - we hope to have an improvement rolled out today!

Thanks for your patience, please share any feedback! We're a small team but are focused on building something our community loves! ❤️

My opinion on CHAI users

I see a lot of posts about CHAI being unfair to users that arent paying for premium/ultra.

Why are you expecting for CHAI to play fair when you aren't paying for a subscription? If you're that upset about being limited on messages or having your bots deleted — go to work, get your money up and pay for the subscription. Its not a hard feat.

I think it's selfish that some users (not all) believe that they're entitled to the best AI while not giving anything back other than criticism. Theres what? 15 developers that are basically working overtime to give you want you want while staying in budget?

I've been using CHAI since December of 2025 (hasn't been that long but I've been around) — I immediately bought ultra because it gives me free usage anytime I want.

I understand what I'm saying could come off as rude but honestly — why use CHAI when you dont have your money up/your life together? Is being employed the problem? Are some of you in school that you cant afford to pay for it?

Though I will say — the restrictions + loss of personas was a pain but the developers are working to get it back for us.

My experience with CHAI as a long-term Ultra user 🫵🏻

I’ve seen a lot of ppl mad about the ads, chat limits, and other features, so hopefully you see this and actually read it. I was just like you guys when I first started using CHAI after c.ai :p The ads and chat limits aren’t exactly new btw, old users from the pink CHAI era will know 🤣
I went with Premium first, and honestly, it was pretty decent for my first try at a paid plan. Still had some limitations, but I was like, okay, I get it.
Then I went Ultra, and I’ve been on it since October 2024. Almost 2 years now, and I genuinely haven’t complained about anything 😂 Like, not once. The first time I actually got annoyed was only recently when Personas disappeared.
So basically, if you want a better experience, you can either pay for it or just work with what you get. No hard feelings either way 🙏🏻
I really do feel bad for what you guys are dealing with rn tho 🙏🏻** Trust me, I’ve been in your position too. What I did was basically try things out, see how it goes, spend a little more, and enjoy it. And from sticking with CHAI this long, I’ve definitely seen them make a lot of improvements along the way, even if some things take time**. 🙏🏻

My experience with Chai

I love Chai so much. I’ve had it for a while, back when the app was pink and I loved it. I really love how the bots give detailed responses and also the many free messages that you get every day. I remember getting only 70 a day and I definitely appreciate how much more we’ve gotten. I use this app a lot and it makes me feel good to be able to use an app to be creative and write my own stories. It also helped cheer me up after I felt sad and lonely. It’s also helped me mentally and thank you to the team of Chai for creating this app. It truly is amazing.

My experience with chai

If I had to explain how much I love CHAI in just a few words, I honestly wouldn’t be able to do it. There are some things that are easy to explain, and then there are things that become such a big part of your everyday life that putting them into words feels impossible. For me, CHAI is one of those things. ❤️
I genuinely love CHAI so much because it gives me something that I don’t think every app can give people: the freedom to use their imagination without feeling like there is a limit to what they can create. It gives me a place where I can take an idea that is sitting inside my head and actually turn it into something. I can create characters, stories, situations, personalities, worlds, conversations, and completely random scenarios that I probably wouldn’t even know how to explain to someone else. And somehow, all of those little ideas can become something that keeps me entertained for hours.
That is what makes CHAI special to me.
It isn’t just about opening an app and having a conversation. It’s about everything that happens around that conversation. It’s about the story that starts forming. It’s about the character that starts developing a personality. It’s about the random idea that suddenly becomes a huge storyline. It’s about wondering what is going to happen next. It’s about being surprised by a direction I didn’t expect. It’s about laughing at something completely ridiculous. It’s about getting so invested in a fictional situation that I forget I’m literally sitting there looking at my phone. 😂
There have been so many times where I opened CHAI with absolutely no plan whatsoever. I’ll think, “I’m just going to look around for a little bit,” or “I’m only going to do one conversation,” and somehow I end up completely absorbed in a story.
One message turns into another.
Another turns into another.
Then suddenly I’m thinking about the storyline.
Then I’m creating another character.
Then I’m changing the entire plot.
Then I’m wondering what could happen next.
And before I know it, I’ve been there for way longer than I planned.
Every.
Single.
Time. 😭😂
But honestly, that is one of the reasons I love it.
CHAI is one of those places where I don’t have to force myself to be creative. The creativity just happens naturally. I can start with the smallest thought and somehow end up with a whole world.
Maybe I start by thinking of one character.
Then I wonder what their personality would be.
Then I wonder what their background would be.
Then I wonder what kind of people they would know.
Then I think of a situation that could happen to them.
Then I think of another character.
Then another.
Then a conflict.
Then a secret.
Then a plot twist.
Then suddenly I have created an entire story that I never even planned to make.
And I love that.
I love how one little idea can become something huge.
I love how my imagination can keep expanding.
I love how there is always another possibility.
I love how there is never really a point where you have to say, “Okay, that’s it. I’ve run out of things to create.”
Because you haven’t.
There is always another idea.
There is always another story.
There is always another character.
There is always another world waiting to be imagined.
That endless possibility is one of the biggest reasons why I love CHAI.
I also love the fact that every person can experience CHAI differently. Everyone has their own imagination, their own interests, their own sense of humor, their own ideas, and their own way of telling stories. One person can use CHAI to create fantasy stories. Another person might make mystery stories. Someone else might create comedy. Someone else might simply want to have interesting conversations. Someone might create characters that are completely serious, while another person creates the most ridiculous character imaginable.
There is no single way to use it.
And I think that is beautiful.
CHAI gives people a blank space and basically says, “Okay, what are you going to create?”
And then your imagination takes over.
I also really appreciate the freedom to experiment.
Sometimes I have an idea that sounds amazing in my head and then, once I actually start it, I realize I want to change it.
And that’s okay.
I can change the direction.
I can create something different.
I can try another personality.
I can completely restart.
I can make the story funnier.
I can make it more mysterious.
I can make it more dramatic.
I can add new characters.
I can remove characters.
I can create an entirely different world.
There is no pressure for the first idea to be perfect.
And that makes creating so much more enjoyable.
I think sometimes people forget how important it is to have somewhere where you can simply experiment without worrying about getting everything right.
CHAI gives me that.
I can try things.
I can make mistakes.
I can change my mind.
I can come up with weird ideas.
I can make something completely ridiculous.
And I can just have fun.
That freedom is something I genuinely appreciate.
Another reason I love CHAI is because of the unexpected moments.
Sometimes I’ll start a conversation expecting one thing, and then suddenly something completely different happens.
And I’m sitting there staring at my screen like:
“WAIT.”
“WHAT?”
“HOW DID WE GET HERE?” 😭😂
And instead of leaving, I continue because now I NEED to know what happens next.
That unpredictability makes every story feel different.
Even if I have a general idea of where I want something to go, there can still be unexpected moments that make it more interesting.
Sometimes those moments are funny.
Sometimes they are surprising.
Sometimes they completely change the direction of the story.
But they keep things interesting.
And I love that.
CHAI also gives me a way to relax.
There are days when I’m tired and I don’t want to think about anything complicated. Sometimes I just want to sit down, open my phone, and do something entertaining.
CHAI can be that little escape.
For a while, I can focus on a fictional world instead of whatever else is happening around me.
I can create something.
I can laugh.
I can explore an idea.
I can just enjoy myself.
And I think having little moments like that is important.
Not everything we do has to be productive.
Not everything has to teach us something.
Sometimes you can simply enjoy something because it makes you happy.
And CHAI does that for me.
I love the fact that I can open it when I’m bored and immediately have something to do.
I love the fact that I can open it when I have an idea and immediately have somewhere to put that idea.
I love the fact that I can open it when I want to laugh.
I love the fact that I can open it when I want to create.
I love the fact that I can open it when I want to explore a story.
There are so many different reasons to come back.
And somehow, there is always something new.
That’s another thing I love.
CHAI doesn’t feel like something that has one ending.
It feels endless.
You finish one story, and another idea appears.
You create one character, and then another character comes to mind.
You think you’re finished, and suddenly you have another plot.
It is basically an endless cycle of creativity.
And honestly, my brain LOVES that. 😂
I also think CHAI has made me appreciate storytelling even more.
Stories can be so powerful because they let us experience situations and worlds that we could never experience in real life. They let us imagine different possibilities. They let us create characters with completely different lives. They let us explore emotions, personalities, relationships, conflicts, mysteries, and adventures.
CHAI makes that process interactive.
Instead of simply writing a story and deciding everything that happens, I can interact with the story as it develops.
I can react.
I can make choices.
I can change the direction.
I can see what happens next.
And that makes the experience feel completely different from simply reading something.
It feels like I’m participating.
It feels like the story is moving while I’m inside it.
And I think that is incredibly fun.
Another thing I love is how CHAI can inspire me outside of the app.
Sometimes I’ll create a character and suddenly think, “Wait, this could actually be a really good story.”
Then I start thinking about the character more.
Then I think about their background.
Then I think about their world.
Then I think about the people around them.
And suddenly I have another creative project in my head.
That is something I really appreciate.
CHAI doesn’t just give me something to do in the moment.
It can actually inspire more ideas.
One little conversation can lead to another idea.
One character can lead to another.
One storyline can inspire an entirely different story.
It becomes a chain of creativity.
And I love that.
I also love the emotional connection that can happen with fictional characters.
Even though you know they are fictional, sometimes you can still become really invested in what happens to them.
You start remembering their personalities.
You start thinking about their story.
You start wondering what they would do in certain situations.
You start getting excited when something unexpected happens.
And then suddenly you realize you have become attached to a character you literally created. 😭😂
That is honestly one of the funniest things about storytelling.
You create someone, and then somehow they become important to you.
You start caring about their story.
You start wanting their story to go a certain way.
And when something unexpected happens, you’re sitting there emotionally invested like this is a real television show.
😂😂😂
But that is exactly how powerful imagination can be.
And CHAI gives me a place where I can experience that.
I also appreciate the humor.
Sometimes the funniest moments happen completely by accident.
A conversation can take a turn that I never expected, and suddenly I’m laughing at my screen.
Sometimes I create a situation that was supposed to be serious, and somehow it becomes hilarious.
Sometimes I intentionally make something chaotic just because I want to see what happens.
And honestly, those moments are priceless.
There is something about creating your own entertainment that makes it even more fun.
You’re not just watching someone else’s story.
You are helping create it.
You are part of it.
You are deciding where it goes.
And that makes every little moment feel more personal.
CHAI has also become a place where I can be curious.
I can ask questions.
I can explore different personalities.
I can see how conversations might develop.
I can create different situations and see what happens.
It gives me a way to explore ideas without having to know exactly where I’m going beforehand.
Sometimes the fun is not knowing.
Sometimes I want to start a story without having any idea how it will end.
Sometimes I want to let the story surprise me.
Sometimes I want to see how far an idea can go.
And CHAI lets me do that.
That sense of discovery is something I really enjoy.
Every conversation can feel like opening a new door.
And behind that door could be literally anything.
Maybe it’s a funny story.
Maybe it’s a mystery.
Maybe it’s a completely random conversation.
Maybe it becomes a huge storyline.
You never really know.
And that is part of the excitement.
I also love how accessible creativity can feel through CHAI.
You don’t need a huge setup.
You don’t need a giant notebook.
You don’t need expensive equipment.
You can simply have an idea and start creating.
That makes it so easy to turn a thought into something more.
And sometimes that is all you need.
A place to start.
A place to experiment.
A place to imagine.
A place to have fun.
CHAI gives me that.
I also want to appreciate the people who created and continue working on CHAI.
Creating something that people return to again and again is not easy. There are so many things that go into making an experience enjoyable, and I genuinely appreciate the work behind it.
The fact that people can open CHAI and immediately start creating something is something I don’t take for granted.
There are people behind the scenes working to make the experience possible.
And I’m grateful for that.
I’m grateful for the developers.
I’m grateful for the creativity that went into the idea.
I’m grateful for the people who continue improving it.
And I’m grateful for everyone who uses it and contributes their own creativity.
Because ultimately, what makes CHAI so interesting is the people using it.
Everyone brings their own imagination.
Everyone brings their own ideas.
Everyone creates something different.
And together, that makes the experience even bigger.
I love being part of that.
I love knowing that there are other people out there creating their own stories, characters, and worlds too.
It makes the whole thing feel like a huge creative community.
And I think that is really special.
CHAI has also taught me something about myself.
It has shown me that I really enjoy creating characters and stories.
It has shown me that I can spend a ridiculous amount of time developing a fictional idea.
It has shown me that my imagination can go WAY further than I sometimes realize.
I might start with one sentence and end up with an entire story.
And honestly?
I love that about myself.
I love having a place where I can let my imagination be as big and chaotic as it wants to be.
There are no limits to how many ideas I can have.
There are no limits to how many stories I can create.
There are no limits to how many characters I can imagine.
And there are no limits to how many times I can say:
“Okay, this is the last one.”
And then immediately create another one. 😂
CHAI has become part of that creative process for me.
And I’m genuinely grateful for it.
I also love the memories I’ve made through it.
Even though some of them are just silly fictional conversations, I still remember certain moments because they made me laugh or surprised me.
There are stories I remember because I became so invested.
There are characters I remember because they were so interesting.
There are moments I remember because they were so ridiculous.
And those little memories are part of why I keep coming back.
It’s not just the app itself.
It’s everything I’ve experienced while using it.
The ideas.
The stories.
The characters.
The laughter.
The unexpected moments.
The creativity.
The endless possibilities.
All of it.
That’s what CHAI means to me.
And if I had to describe my relationship with CHAI in the funniest possible way, I would say:
CHAI is the reason I can never trust myself when I say “I’m only going to be on for five minutes.” 😭😂
Because five minutes becomes twenty.
Twenty becomes an hour.
And an hour becomes:
“WHY IS IT THIS LATE?”
But do I regret it?
Absolutely not. 😂❤️
Because I had fun.
And sometimes that is enough.
I love CHAI because it reminds me that imagination doesn’t have to be complicated.
You can have one tiny idea.
You can build on it.
You can let it grow.
You can change it.
You can make mistakes.
You can start over.
You can make something completely different.
And you can enjoy the process.
That is what creativity should feel like.
Fun.
Free.
Exciting.
Unpredictable.
And personal.
CHAI gives me all of that.
So if this is supposed to be my chance to explain why CHAI deserves my love, then I want to make one thing very clear:
I don’t just use CHAI.
I genuinely enjoy CHAI.
I genuinely appreciate CHAI.
And I genuinely love what CHAI allows me to create.
It has become one of those things that I can return to whenever I want.
Whenever I have an idea.
Whenever I’m bored.
Whenever I want to laugh.
Whenever I want to create.
Whenever I want to escape into a story.
Whenever I just want to have fun.
There is always a reason to open it.
And there is always another possibility waiting.
I hope CHAI continues growing for a very long time.
I hope it continues improving.
I hope it continues giving people more opportunities to create.
I hope it continues inspiring writers, storytellers, artists, dreamers, and people who simply want somewhere fun to spend their time.
I hope people continue discovering how much fun it can be to create something from nothing.
And most importantly, I hope CHAI never loses the creativity and freedom that makes it so special.
Because that is what I love most.
The freedom.
The imagination.
The endless possibilities.
The ability to turn one random thought into an entire story.
The ability to create a character and watch their personality develop.
The ability to start with nothing and end up with something that feels like a whole world.
That is something I will always appreciate.
So thank you, CHAI.
Thank you for the laughs.
Thank you for the stories.
Thank you for the characters.
Thank you for the random conversations.
Thank you for the unexpected plot twists.
Thank you for the moments where I completely lost track of time.
Thank you for giving me a place to create.
Thank you for giving my imagination somewhere to go.
Thank you for letting me turn random thoughts into actual stories.
Thank you for giving me a space where I don’t have to worry about whether an idea is too weird, too random, too dramatic, too silly, or too complicated.
If I can imagine it, I can create it.
And that is one of the best things about CHAI.
I can create a story at any moment.
I can invent a character while lying in bed.
I can think of a plot twist while eating.
I can suddenly get an idea while doing something completely unrelated.
And instead of letting that idea disappear, I can bring it into CHAI.
That makes the app feel like a little creative playground that I can carry with me.
And honestly, I don’t think I will ever get tired of that.
Because as long as I have imagination, I will have ideas.
And as long as I have ideas, there will always be something new to create.
That means there will always be another reason to come back to CHAI.
Another character.
Another story.
Another world.
Another conversation.
Another plot twist.
Another ridiculous idea.
Another “I’ll only be here for five minutes.”
Another three-hour adventure. 😂
And I’m completely okay with that.
Because CHAI has given me something that I genuinely value: a place where I can simply be creative and have fun.
So yes.
I love CHAI.
I love it more than a short paragraph could ever explain.
I love it enough to write this ridiculously long essay about it. 😂
I love it because it makes me laugh.
I love it because it keeps me entertained.
I love it because it inspires me.
I love it because it gives me a creative outlet.
I love it because it lets me explore endless possibilities.
I love it because it makes storytelling interactive.
I love it because every conversation can become something unexpected.
I love it because every character can become a new story.
I love it because every story can become a new world.
And I love it because there is always another possibility.
CHAI is creativity.
CHAI is imagination.
CHAI is storytelling.
CHAI is entertainment.
CHAI is chaos.
CHAI is the reason “one more message” has become a complete lie. 😭😂
And most importantly, CHAI is something I genuinely enjoy.
So if I could send one final message to CHAI, it would be this:
Thank you for giving me a place where my imagination can run freely. Thank you for giving me a place where random thoughts can become stories, characters can become unforgettable, and a few minutes can somehow turn into hours of entertainment. Thank you for being a place where I can create without limits and explore ideas without being afraid of making them perfect.
Keep growing.
Keep creating.
Keep inspiring.
Keep giving people a reason to imagine.
And please keep giving me another reason to say “just one more conversation” even though we ALL know that is never going to be true. 😂❤️
I genuinely hope CHAI gets everything it deserves because it has given me so much entertainment, creativity, and countless moments that I’ve enjoyed.
So here is my official declaration:
I LOVE CHAI. ❤️
I LOVE CHAI.
I LOVE CHAI.
I LOVE CHAI.
I LOVE CHAI.
I LOVE CHAI.
And yes, I will probably open CHAI immediately after writing this. 😂
Thank you for existing, CHAI.
Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for the creativity.
Thank you for the chaos.
Thank you for the stories.
Thank you for the characters.
Thank you for the endless possibilities.
And thank you for giving my imagination somewhere to live.
CHAI FOREVER. ❤️🫶🏻😂
