White nights made me cry white nights by Dostoevsky made me cry and confused at the same time . Nastenka she’s a kind hearted girl, but I do not understand one thing. I know she loved a man before. She loved the dreamer, but she chose the lodger. She had one year to decide and I do not understand why the dreamer didn’t convince her. I mean he had a whole year to convince her that he loved her. That’s what confuses me and I want anyone to just give me a precise for the philosophical deeper meaning of the novel. Thank you ❤️
