A typical storyline with a cheating arc, but Tabby-cheater's mood swings make me laugh instead of angry... I really look forward to his next excuse each week. 🤡🤡🤡

Occupation shown in Pak Dramas

I've been following Pakistani dramas for a year now and have noticed that they rarely experiment with different genres or occupations. A limited set of professions is consistently portrayed, while many interesting ones remain untouched. Here are the occupations I've found so far:

  1. Doctor - This is the most common occupation depicted in dramas. While these shows are predominantly female-led, they often don't portray medical systems accurately. It seems like if I tossed a stone into a list of female leads, it would likely hit a doctor.
  2. Businessman- The second most common occupation. Most businessmen in dramas own factories or engage in import-export activities, with construction sites being less common. Like doctors, their portrayal is often unrealistic, and this field is predominantly male-led in dramas.
  3. Politician- This is another very common and male-dominated occupation. If I were to throw a stone into a list of male leads, it would probably strike a politician too.
  4. Engineer - Another male-dominated field. While there are a few female engineers portrayed, it would be great to see exploration of other engineering majors beyond mechanical and civil, which are often favored.
  5. Teacher - This is predominantly a female-dominated occupation in dramas.
  6. Banker
  7. Actor
  8. Singer
  9. Comedian - Typically portrayed as a female stand-up comedian.
  10. Army
  11. Police
  12. Gangster- This archetype appears in almost every drama.
  13. Gamer - For instance, the character Mustafa from “KMKT.”
  14. Real Estate Agent
  15. Writer
  16. Lawyer

While I have listed many occupations, they tend to follow a similar template and rarely show variation within roles such as doctors, engineers, and teachers. I haven't seen occupations like architects, hackers, IT specialists, dancers, makeup artists, entrepreneurs, or athletes featured in mainstream dramas. Furthermore, most dramas focus on the same limited set of professions, including politicians, doctors, teachers, police, and engineers. Apart from them, other jobs are shown rarely...Even these occupations are often portrayed inaccurately. Overall, there is a significant lack of career-oriented storylines in these dramas. They barely have office dramas. Did i miss anything? Share you POV

MZHT has recently surpassed 2.02 billion views for episodes only, which prompted me to do some calculations. I am impressed with the results, but I should mention that there may be errors as I am not part of the crew or from Pakistan. I did my best to ensure accuracy with some assistance from an AI.

So, to summarize it:

It earned around 3M-7M USD or 834223200.00-1946520800.00 PKR

The estimated Budget was 400K-500K USD or 111229760.00-139037200.00 PKR; it can be much lower, though, according to the Pakistani payment system that I am not familiar with.

I kept both Male and female leads' income around 70 lac-80 lac PKR, as it is estimated that Alisters take 2- 3 lac per episode

So the profit within 7-8 months is insane!!!!

Let's Play A Game!!!!

Imagine you woke up in one of Bilal's dramas. You’ve found yourself in the body of either the villain, the female lead, or some side character. You know exactly how the story goes, and you have the chance to change things up. But keep in mind, if you tweak the plot, the ending could turn out completely different. Or you could just roll with the original storyline. So, which drama and character would you pick? And Why? How would this impact the storyline?

And I added the pictures because why not?

#and to whom who downvoted...... take therapy and get a life.

Agony Manifests Monsoon

The final scene of ABPKD is one of the best ending sequences I have ever seen in Pakistani dramas. This particular scene elevated the storyline tenfold. Something like YE SCENE EK TARAF AUR BAKI DRAMA EK TARAF

The song I used here is Üsküdar’a Gider İken, the timeless Turkish folk song that once inspired Kazi Nazrul Islam to create the song Room Jhoom.

And Finally!!!!

Happy Birthday, Bilal Abbas Khan! May Allah protect you from all negative energy and grant you prosperity in life.

The CURSED JIFFY That Bound Kamyar Forever

~Kammy Boi gatekept his favorite song~

The following verses served as his main motto throughout MZHT:

I'm in love with a fairytale
Even though it hurts
'Cause I don't care if I lose my mind
I'm already cursed

Every day, we started fighting
Every night, we fell in love
No one else could make me sadder
But no one else could lift me high above

This is how he would have described the incident to his kids

I made it!!!

In a parallel universe...Ayra did her best, but her world still crumbled. She held on to the hope of a happy ending and searched for Kamyar until the very end. Her efforts paid off; Kamyar came to her this time. Her sheer manifestation united them for life.

The video's distorted, and I'm too broke to get it fixed.SORRY...

Bazigar by Shakeel Adil Zada

Urdu is not my first, second, or third language, but I understand it. Is there any way I can read translated books in English or in romanized Urdu? I found an audio version on YouTube, but the quality is not good like Peer-e Kamil, so any idea?

I knew he was playing a bad guy in the drama before I started watching, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment at all. The showdown between Mannat and Wajih was really impressive. I’ll never forget episode 6, where he confessed in this unsettling way, as if he didn’t actually kill Nayyab but just tossed trash out the window. He even remarked that he’d never met a girl as smart as Mannat, asking how she became friends with Nayyab, which totally showed how misogynistic he was.

He talked about how he murdered her with this creepy expression, and when Mannat lost it and slapped him a bunch of times, he just smiled like a total villain. He leaned in to scare her, saying she was his "bhabi," so he wouldn’t hurt her, but he could kill and break bones if he wanted to. He tried to justify his actions by claiming he just lost his cool, which really highlighted how he had no accountability or fear of consequences. Mannat was understandably freaked out being with a guy who could justify murder and attempted rape, so she quickly left his room. That scene was just brilliant.

Later, he tried to play many cheap tactics on her. indirectly talking to her, teasing her, and driving her mad so that she leaves the house was annoying as HELL. Some of his remarks on women really made my blood boil. I genuinely dreamt of throwing him outta window and torturing him for several days. LOL.

Both Bilal and Saba did an amazing job, and their performances were truly neck and neck. The villain was so powerful that I found myself really wanting Mannat to win. I was rooting for her. However, the final scene really shook me to my core. I hated myself for crying, but I believe that was the point. The themes of accountability, familial bonds, and the tragedy he brought upon the family were extremely overwhelming. I cried not for Wajih as a person, but for the values they portrayed.

So, the bottom line is I hate Wajih Taseer with utmost Passion.
