Assalamualikum, I’m looking to seek advice from sisters who wear niqab. I recently started wearing niqab it’s been a few months. I work in tech and got accepted into a new program that requires us to have our cameras on, and go to In person networking events, have coffee chats. I’ve never worn niqab to events, I mainly stay home so it’s gotten me a little nervous because I know being Muslim in corporate America and wearing your identity on your sleeve can sometimes gain negative comments / attention. I want to continue my career without compromising on my religion.

If you wore niqab and were able to enter SWE can you please tell me about your journey, and job application process and getting hired.
