Barbell In Strength Class?!
Was scrolling through new strength classes and noticed in Robin’s recent glutes and legs strength she includes barbell hip thrust as an exercise?! I have only ever seen barbell exercises on strength +! Is this new?

My 4.5 month old (corrected 13 weeks, born at 34 weeks) has been experiencing nightly false starts, waking up 45 mins to an hour after we put him down. Will lie there awake staring at the monitor (we have not sleep trained yet, but plan to) until we pick him up and he falls back asleep. He’s also been waking up so frequently fussing in the early hours of the morning. Every night after around 4 am he is up every 15-30 minutes kicking, fussing in his crib. I will attempt to feed him but he only nurses for 2-3 minutes before falling asleep. The second I put him back down the cycle repeats again.
How do we beat these false starts, and more importantly the frequent early morning wakes?? My sleep never feels rested because I’m up so often with him in the early hours of the morning or he ends up needing to sleep on me for either of us to get any sleep after 4 am.
I’ve been using huckleberry & the sweetspot predictions to help time my LO’s naps and they have been very accurate for when he will be ready to sleep. He is 17 weeks, but 11 weeks corrected as he was born 6 weeks early at 34 weeks.
The issue I’m having is that he is incredibly difficult to “wind down” properly and put to sleep, even if we do so just before the SweetSpot hits! We go into his nursery, put him in his sleep suit, I sing to him, red light on. All of the steps we have been trying to make into a routine for him for when it’s time to sleep. But even still, every single time we try to put him to sleep he FIGHTS us so hard. Crying immediately upon us rocking him, kicking, rubbing his face into our chests. This happens whether we are before, at, or after the “sweetspot”. It doesn’t seem to matter whether he is overtired, under tired or just tired enough - when it is time to sleep, he fights us.
How do I make sleep times relaxing for him, and get him to sleep without a big fuss? Help!
On top of the physical symptoms I was feeling, my oura ring tipped me off that something was going on in my pregnancy. Around 32-33 weeks when I was experiencing a lot of what we thought was prodromal labor, my oura ring stats started to return to baseline. Oura says the nighttime heart rate will drop between weeks 34 and 40 prior to delivery, but mine started to decline around 30 weeks. Oura states HRV slowly increases from 32 weeks until birth, and mine increased from 30 onwards. My water broke at 34 weeks and I delivered at 34w1d. I took these screenshots days before I delivered, when I had a feeling something was up. Crazy how these trends work, has anyone ever seen this before? Quite the traumatic whirlwind of a delivery, but very interesting in hindsight to see the data and what it was seeming to predict.
