Rifle re taping and tightening

hiii I’m finally tightening my rifle after months of the strap being loose as well as retaping it for a cleaner look. there was this weird tape covering the hardware and the tip/butt of the rifle and I was wondering about an alternative so I don’t have as much wear and tear on the rifle since its My schools.i also already removed it and my coach told me to put it back :(

I’ve included a picture of this weird tape on the rifle maybe you can identify it? it’s thicker than most tape

I have a crush on my love interest in the musical I’m going to be in over the school year idk what to do.

Next year I’m a junior in high school and he is a senior. I’ve had a crush on this guy for a few months but I’ve been kind of in denial before that during our last schools musical. i auditioned for next falls musical in the spring (something rotten) and I got a callback! so I had to read part of the script with him and it apparently went so well that I got cast as Portia and he got cast as Nigel. also over the summer I’m in SpongeBob the musical with this same guy he is SpongeBob and I am Pearl krabs so we’re interacting more than usual . I don’t want to ask before something rotten because showmances (romances between leads/ love intrests) usually end badly due to the stress of tech week and school combined as well as most just being a bad idea and if he doesn’t like me back it would be really awkward to play love intrests. So idk what to do I’m probably not going to make a move unless he makes one or wait until the musical is over.

please feel free to ask any questions in the comments I just dont know what to do and I get so flustered and say weird/unnecessary stuff when I’m around him.

HELP audition today (haven’t picked a song yet…)

hi, first day on reddit! for some context I’m a mezzo-soprano going into junior year anyway I have an open audition for our local theatre anytime from 2-7pm I still don’t know what to sing :,(

I do have a few options (it’s SpongeBob the musical btw)

My new philosophy (you're à good man Charlie Brown)

shy (once apon a mattres)

suddenly semore (little shop)

im auditioning for sandy but also I don’t care if I get Pearl since I’ve been in a different production as Pearl but I’d rather not. I dont really know the ladder two songs and I was thinking about Oklahoma? From dirty rotten scoundrels since I know that one but I know a lot of people are singing that. please guys I need help as soon as possible (if possible ) thank you!

i auditioned with the first park of Oklahoma? since i had it memorized already. I think it went well and the cast list comes out the thirteenth of this month! Ill update with what i got :) thanks Again!
