Buddy offered me his pre-14 rem 700 300win for 400 bucks and I’m probably gonna buy it. It’s got the pencil hunting barrel and original stock. I’m wondering what’s the best options now-a-days for building this out. Will be planning on changing out the barrel and stock probably go mdt for the stock but if you were in my shoes would you just rebarrel it in a heavy 300win or go with something else?
(This is not my first rifle I have multiple creeds, Grendel’s, and 308’s and this will be used for long range)

So I’ve recently built and started running a futures deck and it’s been a good deck but do to a recent ruling I don’t agree with I need to reach out to the masses to see if everyone agrees with this.

When using C.O.D.E.: Protect against an N’s zoroark the zoroark used night joker which allows it to use another n’s Pokémon’s attack. Should that attack not be blocked by protect because it’s an ex using that attack? The judge in my match tonight decided using AI that the attack was not blocked, due to there not being any information online or in their “rulebook” about this and it costed me the match and prize (final match of the night) the attack could not of been used without the opponents active ex and code protect blocks all attacks from an ex so now im just confused. Ive done a good amount of googling and cant find anything saying this is or is not FairPlay

Just wanted to let you all know we added a new rule today.

The rule is: No AI-generated content allowed. That means no AI-written posts, stories, comments, images, art, memes, videos, or any other creative stuff made mostly by AI.
But we’re cool with a couple exceptions:
• Spreadsheets made with AI (.xlsx, csv, whatever)
• Calculations, data crunching, formulas, stats
• Summaries of other stuff (articles, videos, threads, etc.)

If you use AI for those, just be upfront about it – say something like “AI summary here” or “spreadsheet made with AI” and link the original source when it makes sense. Don’t try to sneak it through as 100% human work or it’ll get yanked.
Important: Anything AI-made that was posted before today stays up. We’re not hunting down old posts. This only applies from now on.
We’re doing this because we want real human creativity and discussion here, not a flood of bot shit. AI is handy for the boring technical stuff, but the rest should come from actual people.

Currently looking for a load for my 16” RSI .308. I’m looking for the heaviest bullet with good expansion that would stay supersonic to 400 yards without issue. I’ve experimented with Hornady 220 interlock and eldx and wasn’t impressed with the results with multiple different charges and powders. Would also be interested in hearing the heaviest bullet anyone has used for a 308. Thanks everyone!
