Hello,
has anykne had the hyundai anticorrosion recall spray? How do you wash your car once you have the spray? Can you still take it to a touchless car wash with undercarriage flush?
How long does this spray last?

Thanks

How bad is this rust

I have a 2014 hyundai accent with 107,000 miles. I live in NY. I recently had gas tank, muffler, and brake lines replaced. I’m waiting for estimates for my hatch and wheel wells area. Mechsnic said subframe and frame still good. What would you do sboyt this rust? Anyone experience similar on their cars? This is my first car I owned so I’m new to all of this

How do I keep this rust from getting worse?

I have a 2014 hyundai accent that I was told has some surface rust in trunk pan but rest of the body is still good. What is this rust in the photo? Is it surface rust? do I need a body shop? I have an appointment for a krown application in a few weeks. I live in NY. Can I wait 6 mos to a year for body work?

How do I keep this rust from getting worse? Is this moderate?

I have a 2014 hyundai accent hatchback. I live in NY so deal with a lot of road salt in the winter. I jyst had my car inspected and was told the frame and subframe are still good. I just have surface rust in my trunk pan and my mechanic advised that I get krown applied every year going foward. I have a krown appointment set up in a few weeks. How bad is the rust on my hatch? Does it need to go to a body shop after krown? If it needs a body shop how long can I wait before it gets worse?

will highway driving for 15 min one way daily and stop and go on way home put more wear and tear on my engine and transmission than round trip highway driving

I have an automatic 2014 hyundai accent with 106,000 miles. I drive 5 days a week to and from work. I take the highway 15 min in the morning and take side roads that have a lot if traffic lights on the way home. Is this driving habit harder on my engine and transmission than just driving round trip highway?

Stop and go for 15 min shorten longevity of car vs 15 min highway driving daily

I currently have a 2014 with 106,000 miles and just had my gas tank replaced this year. Last year new gaskets and exhaust manifold. My car still seems to be running well. I’m curious as to how many people still own this model and if you are encountering any issues yet? I’m hoping to keep my car on the road for at least another 5 years

I have a 2014 hyundai accent 106,000 miles automatic. I live in NY. I just recently replaced my gas tank due to rust. Mr tire said undercarriage average. This was s month ago. I never looked at my undercarriage until a few days before the hyundsi 984 anticorrosion campaign. I found a decent size hole in my floor pan. When I took it to the dealership fir the recall, I mentioned the floor pan because I was also there for a nys inspection. I didn’t want to proceed with inspection until they told me about the hole but the advisor told me the hole won’t fail yhe inspection as that is not what they look at for inspection. what do you think about this hole?

I have a 2014 hyundai accent and live in the salt belt. I have 106,000 miles. I just had my gas tank replaced due to rust. I’m concerned about the rest of my car. I see the hyundai dealer tomorrow for anticorrosion recall but I don’t know if my car is too far gone for this. I’m also scheduled for NYS safety inspection. Does anyone know ic it will pass? I did find a hole in my floor pan but my finger just hit metal and didn’t go through. So far I don’t hear any sounds or feel alignment issues

2014 hyundai accent with 106,000 miles automatic. I’m going to a dealer in a few days for anticorrosion recall. I took pics of my undercarriage and noticed a small hole in floor pan. My finger did not go through hole but I’m concerned my car is ready for junk yard or major rust repairs. What are your thoughts? I also don’t think it will pass inspection in a few days due to rust. I just had my gas tank replaced and I’m afraid that my brakelines are next. If my car can be saved and I start annual rust protection now is it possible I can get 5 plus more years out of it?
