What do we think about the brand XCMG? Specifically, a brand new 18 U mini excavator?

I actually have a deposit on a Ripa or 22 pro, but the manufacturer is not communicative to my dealer on when it will show up. In addition to that, I see a lot of unflattering stuff lately about them on the Facebook pages. I have a purchase and sales agreement for $24,000 in this machine.

Seeing as how I’m tired of waiting, I went and looked at a few others today one being an XC, MG, 18 U. Very nice machine seems like a step up from the Rippa. The dealer is more of a dealer, with a lot of machines around an actual shop, sales office, and at least two guys who do on site repairs. in addition to that, the warranty is 10 times more beefy than Rippa’s.

To get into this machine would bump me up another $3000, and put me down one machine, size engine, size and open cab versus closed cab with AC and heat.

Any thoughts or opinions on this?

Seller says this generator won’t start due to no spark. Generator looks barely used.

Are all parts readily available? I’m thinking the coil, which seems to be available, at about 50 bucks.

Any other tidbits on this machine? I know it’s worth several thousand in running condition. Buyer wants 200 as is.
