Just hit Bronze; beginnings of a boathouse.

Just got this thing down and had to share. I wanted to build a boathouse for the Karve but also something that could potentially adapt to the Longship. The floors are 3 wide on each side with a half floor strip on the inside. I maaay be able to sneak the longship in there until I find the spot for the perma base.

Going to be a good month

Now all I need is Eisenstein. I'm checking out a few used bookstores tomorrow morning to try my luck. I flew through HR and am slowly going through False Gods while I wait for Galaxy to be delivered.

An update on our CDS buddy, Gustavo

We moved to a much better place for him snd his roommates. Gus can finally settle into the good life with far more room and a universal hard reset of territories. Everyone was on the same page and theyre all getting along pretty swimmingly. Hes a lot younger than his roommates so his attempts to play are refused. In time he will understand, we just play with him more. We introduced everyone quite slowly, in November it will be a year since we took him in.

No more rabies QT, no more ringworm, no more tapeworms. My buddy is home and waking me up impatiently demanding food.

Quite the vibe at times

Missed with my pipe bomb, finished them with an aerosol. I continued circling and herding to keep them off the grass and lure wanderers into the ball.

Brandenburg Airport is clear.

Inherited Coins, best resource for approx value online?

As the title suggests my wife and i recently inherited some old coins and were hoping to get a ballpark estimate online. What resource or resources would give us the best estimate if any?

We have a ton of dead foreign currency which I dont expect much value from. We do have some older British coins like thruppence and others.

The real cool ones are the late 1800s silver dollars, the half dollars, and a bag of wheat pennies. I know the valuable wheat pennies are ultra rare so I wont get my hopes up.

EDIT: None are in protective cases but were stored away in a safe place for years. Qell get the holders or decks I think theyre called?

Final Update on Gustavo the lord of the ringworm

I posted a few times about this fella in this sub over the past few months. If I wasnt on mobile id link them. After 4 months of rabies quarantine due to a bite of unknown origin, a recurring case of ringworm, and a random limp (sprained paw), this boy is finally through the woods. His cone came off today and with the trouble pillows gone he is like butter, melts in ypur hands. We call them pillows because even the vet was amazed at the size of his parts. He required 4 extra sutures because of it! This boy will now slowly get to know his future siblings. Until then he has a queen sized bed, ac, and plenty of toys and food.

It seemed like asthma.

Walter, my little boy. We trapped him and his sister in the backyard after their mom was hit by a car. They took nearly a month to let us touch them. He was a sweet boy, never fully trusted us though. We were blessed to have him for nearly 12 years. Walter began to lose weight over the course of a week or two. Wee scheduled a vet appointment and in the wait he began to belly breathe. When we got him to the vet they sent us to the emergency vet. The diagnosis ended up being congestive heart failure. It was so bad that we really had no choice but to put him down. He went from the sedative in my arms. Absolutely gutting.

Hubris

Most recent save was halfway through October. Took a month off to play Dune. I log in to one gas jug left for my genny. Went for a Quik Trip to get gas and got swarmed. "I can make it back" yeah nah. 3.5 months, 6200 kills. I had tons of guns, sheep, cows, crops, the works. So dumb.

New start I stupidly chose Valley Station. Realized my folly, got a car, more loot than I could store (had two bags in hand and one on each seat), and made it to Ekron. Wish me luck.

Midlife gamer, is SF worth the buy in its current state?

Honest opinions please. Im okay with some jank, I have a taste for early access indie titles. Is the juice worth the squeeze here?

Modders. Any interest in a Punt?

These were giant shotguns that were designed to drop entire flocks of birds with a single shot. So uh, we need this.

Im at work and can't access my Steam app. Ive been meaning to look but always forget to. Are there any mods that are b42 compatible that allow you to modify vanilla vehicles similarly to the Ki5? Roof racks, maybe armor, etc?

Hey,

Im torn and would love some opinions. I initially wanted a 2110cc (90.5mm bore, 82mm stroke) now though, after liste ing to a few engine builders I'm leaning towards a 1994cc (88mm thick walls, 82mm stroke). The intent is for dual carb, likely IDFs of Kadrons.

I will be opting for an aluminum case rather than building this off of a vw case.

Does anyone have any opinions on one over the other?
