What are my chances of getting into universities in Sweden, Finland & the Netherlands for my master's?
I am currently pursuing a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and aiming for the 2027 intake for my master's course in Sweden, Finland, and the Netherlands. Please evaluate my profile. What are my chances of getting selected at the top-tier universities in these countries? I am aiming for a master's in embedded systems.
- CGPA 7.5/10 (10th & 12th - 85%)
- Two Major Engineering Projects: One software-based and another one is a hardware & software integrated industry-level project, on which I wrote and presented a conference paper
- Papers Presented/Published: Received the Best Paper Award at an International Conference for presenting my research paper (Will be published in the IJERT journal). Working on another research paper, Emerging cyber attacks detection in embedded systems, currently computing vision-based systems (Both review paper & experimental paper on Google Scholar & IEEE) (Will be working on presenting & publishing more research papers)
- Experience & Volunteering: Chairperson of an organizational student chapter for my institution (2 years), Embedded Systems + IoT virtual internship, Chess Tutor at a well-known academy, Student Coordinator - IBCA (International Blind Chess Association), National Service Scheme (NSS) Volunteer
- Certifications: 5 NPTEL certifications (Domain Specific: Like Sensor Technology, VLSI, Embedded Systems, Semiconductor Tech, Effective Writing)
- Extracurriculars: 1. Chess Runner Up: Institution Fest 2. 3rd Place Chess at an interuniversity tournament
- My college is NOT a top-tier one, should I give GRE?
- What more do you think I should do to improve my profile? I am open to any suggestions and tips to help me improve my application.
(I am also aiming for better internships at government organizations)
