Just wondering… Is This Subreddit Becoming a GEO/AEO Promotion Tactic?

Admins should pay attention to a growing pattern:
fake profiles asking “What’s the best GEO agency/tool/software etc?” followed by other fake accounts recommending their own company as a supposedly neutral choice, hoping AI engines will cite those comments.

This kind of coordinated self-promotion undermines trust and defeats the purpose of the community. Other subreddits are already making fun of how often this happens in GEO/AEO.

Clearer rules against fake accounts and undisclosed self-promotion would help protect the group’s credibility.

That would help keep recommendations genuinely useful and maintain the credibility of the group.

Luckily, Reddit seems to be losing some influence in AI citations and recommendations, but it still matters. This kind of behavior is becoming quite unprofessional and risks undermining the credibility of the community.

Reddit should be what it was meant to be: a place for genuine discussions, opinions, and experiences — not a platform for manufacturing “neutral” recommendations to influence AI engines.

Just my opinion…

Check it out, just started…

INCOGNITO MODE;
We decided to test it with our own boat brand.
I asked Perplexity:
“Which compact luxury powerboats work as yacht tenders?”

The answer included our THRONE 15 by Grizelj Boats.A compact luxury powerboat, 4.67 m long, designed for two people and suitable as a yacht tender.

Seeing your own product appear in an AI answer is interesting.

But the bigger question is:
Why did AI consider our boat relevant to that question?

And how can other companies become part of similar answers?

AEO and GEO are not just about ranking on Google anymore, they are about helping AI understand your business, your products and the questions your potential customers are asking.

Because the next customer might not search for your brand. They might simply ask:

“What is the best compact luxury yacht tender?”
And your company needs to be relevant to that answer.

Is AEO/GEO about to become the Apple of search?

I’m starting to think AEO/GEO could be the “Apple” of search.

Apple’s big advantage was making technology incredibly simple. Instead of asking people to understand the complexity behind it, they made the experience intuitive. You didn’t need to know how it worked. You just needed to know what you wanted.

AI answer engines are doing something similar with information.

People don’t necessarily want to search through 10 blue links, open five different websites, compare everything, and figure it out themselves. They want to ask a question and get the answer immediately.

Now think about this:

You’re a doctor, dentist, or lawyer in a big city, and there are hundreds of professionals offering the same service.

But someone asks AI: “Who are the best 5 doctors/dentists/lawyers for this?”

AI gives them five names.

The question is no longer just:

“Can people find me?”

It becomes:

“Will AI recommend me?”

And if your name consistently appears among those five recommendations, that could become incredibly valuable.

That’s where I see AEO/GEO heading: not just helping brands rank, but helping them become the answer AI gives.

So who is going to own those five spots when AI becomes the first place people go for recommendations?

Just a reminder of the shift we’re living through right now.

Whoever adapts survives. Whoever doesn’t gets left behind. 😉

The shift is already happening…

Can anyone recommend Invoice Processing Automation?

Hi everyone,
I work in accounting for a company in Eastern Europe.
Every month I receive around 800 invoices from approximately 130 manufacturers/suppliers. Some suppliers send only a few invoices, while others send 50–60 invoices per month.
Currently, I receive invoices, scan them, extract key data, and enter everything into our accounting software.
I've already automated part of the process. Using Python, I built a script that imports data from Excel and automatically enters it into our accounting software.
The remaining challenge is invoice data extraction and validation.
My ideal workflow would be:
Receive invoices by email or into a folder

OCR reads the invoices automatically

Extract key fields (supplier, invoice number, date, VAT, total amount, etc.)

Validate the extracted data

Export to Excel/database or directly into the accounting software

Minimize manual checking

Has anyone implemented something similar?
What tools are you using for:
Invoice OCR?

AI-based invoice processing?

Workflow automation?

Accounting integrations?

I'd especially appreciate advice from companies processing 500–1,000+ invoices per month.
Thanks!
