I saw Gore for the first time today
So, I (19F) saw gore for the first time today. And the worst part is, my brother (22M) forced me to watch it. He told me he saw something online and wanted to show me it, I never could've imagined how gruesome it was. I hated it, but he was holding my arm, and whenever I got uncomfortable, he would just hold my arm tighter, I was horrified. He's hurt me in the past, so I know he won't hesitate to do it again. It's about 1:20 am, and I'm like a child, I'm too scared to even leave my room, and I flinch at every noise. I'm horrified, that was truly a traumatising experience. It was at least two hours of straight gore. So if anyone reading this is thinking about watching gore, don't. You may *think* you can handle it, but I doubt you can. Gore is truly a horrid, disgusting thing. So please, especially if you're a child, stay away from gore sites, subreddits, etc. It will hurt you so much more than you think.
Edit: thank you for all your mind words, and I am sorry for those of you who have also seen this. Yes, I told my parents, but all they said is, "You'll be fine, you're moving soon anyways," which luckily, I am moving to an apartment near the college I'll be going to. Thank you.
Edit 2: (TW - SH) So, I relapsed. I haven't even touched a bl@de in two months before this, but after that, I had the strongest urge to do it I've ever felt. And even better, I was just starting to climb out of thereto space I was in before, that goes just lost me all of my progress.
