I feel you have not been making good decisions on how you run your offense. The setting have been very predictable. You’re still missing that connection with Merrick and Karch really had no choice but to sub him out and I’m super happy that Jendryk stepped up and did a great job! And most importantly why did you deactivate Hanes? He is Team USA’s hottest and clutchest player in this VNL and I just don’t understand why you parked him like that? I feel the only way to get those ace serves out of him is if you keep him hot and keep setting him which unfortunately did not happen in this match. I missed those soul-crushing super spikes from Hanes which could really demoralize the opponent! The fact that an injured Japan team took you guys up to 5 sets and almost won shows the weakness in the offense which ultimately is the setter’s responsibility. All the best for tomorrow’s match rest well and let’s gooooo Team USA!!! 💪💪💪

Seriously Karch the US head coach needs to go. During the VNL match against Poland, he kept the current lineup that wasnt working going into the 3rd set eventhough they were down 2-0. This was the same lineup that was beaten by Bulgaria just the day prior, it was so embarrassing.

He did the same thing to the women’s side and honestly he just needs to retire. Bye KK!
