Bambu Lab A1 – Intermittent extrusion issue, can anyone help?

Hi everyone, I’m having a strange extrusion problem with my Bambu Lab A1 and I can’t figure out what is causing it.
The problem is intermittent: sometimes the printer works perfectly, while other times it suddenly stops extruding during a print.
At first, I thought the issue was related to a specific black filament spool. However, I replaced it with a completely new spool and the problem happened again. For example, one print worked normally until around 43%, then it suddenly stopped extruding.
I’ve already tried several things:
Changed filament and spools
Cut off about 2 meters of filament and reloaded it
Tried different models and projects
Sometimes a model doesn’t extrude, then I change the model/filament, try again, and suddenly everything works
At Bambu Lab Support’s request, I printed a 3DBenchy, which completed successfully
I’ve already sent the printer logs to Bambu Lab Support
That’s the strange part: the printer can work perfectly and complete a Benchy without any issues, but then the extrusion problem randomly comes back on other prints.
At this point, I don’t know whether the problem could be a partially clogged nozzle, the extruder, the filament path, the AMS Lite, or possibly an electronic/sensor issue in the toolhead.
Has anyone experienced a similar intermittent extrusion issue with the A1?
What would you check or replace next?
Thanks a lot for any help or suggestions!

🐉 I’ve been working on a Dragon Ball Z Shadow Lamp and finally finished it!

The goal was to create something that’s both easy to print and looks good as a desk or room decoration.

•	No AMS

•	No supports

•	Easy assembly

•	USB LED compatible

I made several character versions and tried to picture them in different rooms around the house.

Which one would you put on your desk? Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, or Gohan? 🔥

I designed a One Piece Shadow Lamp for LED lighting – what do you think?

Hi everyone!

I’ve been working on this One Piece Shadow Lamp and finally finished it.

The goal was to create something that looks great when illuminated while remaining easy to print:

✅ No AMS required

✅ Minimal supports

✅ Easy assembly

✅ Compatible with USB LED lights

I also made some mockups to see how it would look in different environments such as a bedroom, desk setup, living room, and gaming room.

I’d love to hear your feedback!

What would you improve? And which One Piece character should I make next?

If anyone is interested in printing it, the MakerWorld link is in the comments.

Thanks for taking a look! 🏴‍☠️⚓

I turned a Disney-style font into a customizable parametric name sign 🐭

I’ve been experimenting with customizable parametric text designs, and this Disney-inspired version was definitely one of the hardest ones to make ✨

The biggest challenge was adapting the font while keeping it clean, readable, and printable in 3D — especially to make it work properly with Makerlab and MakerWorld.

Pretty happy with how the final result turned out 🐭

I’ve been experimenting with parametric keychains and made this Disney-inspired version ✨

The base shape is the classic Mickey head silhouette, and the name on top uses a Disney-style font.

Getting the typography to work cleanly in a printable parametric model was definitely the hardest part, but I’m really happy with the final result 🐭

Tried turning a Harry Potter font into a parametric keychain (harder than expected)

I made a parametric Harry Potter-style keychain ⚡

I’ve been experimenting with parametric designs and tried adapting a Harry Potter-style font into a customizable keychain.

Honestly, the hardest part was getting the font to work properly inside Makerlab, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Would love feedback or ideas to improve it!
