Scar tissue?

I had my first eye done on July 22, about a month ago. The surgery went well, I went to the follow up exams the next day and a week later. My vision was blurry but continued to gradually get better. I was supposed to go for the second eye surgery two weeks later on August 5th but I still had inflammation and a bit of blurry vision so I had it moved up to next week, August 26. The surgeon's office had me come in today for another follow up. She said there is still inflammation and swelling and to continue the drops for another week. I'm at 20/25, I chose long distance monofocal lenses.

She also said she saw a little bit of scar tissue. Is this the same thing as PCO or is that different? When I had the operation I opted for the laser assisted surgery, they told me it makes recovery easier. I believe the laser assisted surgery breaks up the lens so it's easier to remove. She said the scar tissue can be removed with a laser about 3 months after recovery and it can be done in their office and takes maybe a minute if that long. Has anyone else here had this problem?

So why did Frank leave the story unfinished?

All through season 8, Frank Randall is heard telling Jamie he's going to die at the Battle of Kings Mountain. It was established that Frank isn't saying that to taunt Jamie, rather it's to let him prepare himself and his family for what is to come afterward. Jamie feels that it's his turn to protect Bree and family from Loyalist soldiers the same way Frank protected her and prepared her for living in the wilds of NC while she was growing up.

>!You're probably going to roll your eyes at me, but why didn't Frank say anything about Jamie coming back to life after the battle? OK, I can understand him not wanting to sound like a crackpot, but when Jamie comes back to life obviously history will still have the rest of his story being told. Unless Frank thinks no one will be fact checking to see if James Fraser really did die at the battle? !<

My CD matured and I let it automatically renew. Hard life lesson learned.

I got a CD in April of last year for the first time ever. My bank's best rate was for a 7 month CD, the APY was 4.22%. The bank officer told me how much I would earn in interest up front and I was happy with that. After the 7 months was up I received a letter:

"Your CD will mature as shown. Visit your branch within 10 calendar days after maturity if you do not want your CD to automatically renew. If no action is taken, it will renew for the term below at the then current interest rate/annual percentage yield (APY). Call after 11/8/2025 to learn the new rate/APY."

The new term was for 182 days. There was no numerical "then current interest rate/APY" noted anywhere in the letter at all. Me, in my ignorance thought it would automatically renew for another 7 months for the current APY of what the bank was issuing to other people getting a new CD, probably around 3.5 - 4.5%.

I got a new letter in the mail, this time the CD matured on 5/8/2026. I wanted to take some money out and renew the CD for half it's value, so I went to the bank and got another CD for 7 months, the new APY was 3.76%. When I got home I was thinking that it wasn't as much money as I thought it should be, so I looked up the interest paid for the last one. I did some calculations and found that 182 days is 6 months, not 7 months, and that the APY they were giving me was a mere 0.65%. I went to the bank today and asked about it, and they said it was correct. If they don't hear from you when your CD automatically renews you're screwed, and they're not going to tell you this unless you ask.
