After Newcastle (2024) and Manchester (2025), this year saw us descend on Birmingham for our annual golf. Five games in three days.

We played:

- The Belfry (Brabazon)

- Drayton Park Golf Club

- The Belfry (PGA National)

- Ullesthorpe Court

- Forest Hill

The Belfry is everything you would expect! Exceptional in every way but a challenging play. All the other courses were also incredible to play. Likely the fact we had played 4 rounds already but Forest Hill was a challenging one.

Next year!?! Who knows yet...

Another amazing year at the Leeds Tattoo Expo. Always a great place to hangout, gain some amazing inspiration and get to see some incredible artists at work. Even if tattoos aren't your thing, seeing the artistry is worth the visit.

It would never be complete without some merch, so, this year, I bought a footy style shirt from Modern Street Apparel.

I never make it to the end but love every minute of Slam Dunk and this year was no exception. Annual meet up with some friends, and great music. This years, exceptional experience, goes to the tiger. I saw him across 3 stages l, crowd surfing, in the midst of a clash pit and generally living the best life a tiger can. Fair play!

Highlights would be seeing SiM! Those guys are next level

The only gripe, if I had to have one, was the lack of shade for many people. While I was ok, I saw one person and heard of others either feeling really bad with the heat or actually passing out. I appreciate the very changeable weather up North (just take the mud bath of a couple of years ago) but this could have been a simple thing to put up some shade barriers.

Anyway, it does not detract from my experience. Bring on 2027.
