Outdoor lotions that won’t degrade self-tanner

Lately I’ve been tanning outdoors but also using self-tanner to enhance the glow. It makes a huge difference to get my neck matching the rest of my body.

But now I’m trying to be careful what I use in the sun so that I don’t mess up my fake tan. Is it just about avoiding heavy oils? Which ones are a no-go?

I really wanted to try Maui Babe or Carroten. Fox Tan I’ve used in the past and it actually worked, but it definitely has oils in it.

Any advice welcome.

Does NAC inhibit tanning?

I was taking it for a while for anti-aging and health and while it was great for my skin, I felt like I wasn’t getting as tan as I should be. Do any of you take it? I’m curious if it interferes with the tanning process somehow.

NAC= N-acetyl cysteine

Algorithm Intentionally Pushing Vegan Content

I noticed recently the more I search for carnivore recipes and hacks on Instagram the more I’m getting recommended plantbased /vegan/vegetarian content. I wonder if this has been programmed in to push an agenda or if it’s just likes to trigger people to keep engagement.

Are accelerators/intensifiers redundant on MT2?

I haven’t tried pinning yet but I’m wondering if topical accelerators become redundant once on MT2. Should I just make sure to stay moisturized and let the MT2 do the trick?

Should I stop taking astaxanthin, lycopene and l-tyrosine?

Adding tyrosine powder to lotion?

I’m wondering if anyone has tried adding tyrosine powder to their moisturizer. Not to use in sun beds, or in place of an accelerator, but just to keep the melanin production going on a daily basis. Theoretically, would it help?

Tanning booth too hot, skin damaged?

So the place I usually go to was fully booked today so I decided to go to the cheaper place that’s always available. The machines are a little older and they’re not so professional. But they’re open 24 hours. I noticed I usually get darker quicker when I use these ones so I’m guessing the UVB is very low. Quite often their booths have a few bulbs broken so they give you extra minutes to compensate. Though the machine is old there is a fan and it’s usually bearable. But for some reason today, it was so freaking hot. The moment I walked in the room the air was hot and stuffy. I guess cause they’ve had one customer after another. I put the fan at the highest setting, but still throughout the whole 10 minutes my skin was hot to the touch. I thought of just leaving because I am afraid that my skin being hot while tanning will cause more skin damage. Is this true? Or could a little heat actually help the whole process? I mean heat is not always so bad, people do sauna. But tell me, did I destroy my skin from 10 minutes in a toasty stand up booth?
