So I’m going to FanExpo Denver to get an autograph from David Tennant and I just wanted to know kind of what to expect when getting an autograph bc I know I won’t get to speak a lot with him but at most I want to let him know how much his character of Crowley meant to me (and maybe get a quick hug). So anyone got any experiences to share so I can prep?

So for context I have always loved space, since I was 5 up until now. But I have always struggled HEAVILY with math, getting like C’s or D’s, mostly because of my dyscalculia and autism diagnosis. I struggle with grasping concepts but once I have something explained thoroughly to me I can usually figure a certain math concept just fine, with a few wrong answers sprinkled here and there. But it also means I learn at a much slower rate than non neurodivergent people, which has caused my grades to suffer in the past.

In my Highschool years for math I took: Alegbra 1, Geometry (had to retake it in the following year), and Statistical Analysis.
And for Science: Physical Science, Biology,
Chemistry, and AP Environmental Science.

(Keep in mind I took these classes when I originally planned to study psychology for my major.)

Coming to the decision to even try to Major in anything Astronomy related was hard, because I was at a point in life where I didn’t see myself getting anywhere as an adult up until that point. But that changed when I went to watch Project Hail Mary with my friends and it reminded me just how much of a passion I had for space and Astronomy. My dad always told me to choose a career I’m actually passionate about or else I’d be stuck with a shitty 9-5, so that’s what I did. And after my gap year I’ve registered for community college to start my journey.

Now obviously Astrophysics isn’t the only field in Astronomy. But, the thing is both Cosmology, and Astrobiology are off the table for me right now in terms of studying them. Because if my very religious parents heard they involve the study of evolution they’d shit their pants. So Astrophysics is my best route.

All that said, is it possible for me to be able to major in Astrophysics even if I’m not very good at math? I really do want to major in it and become a professor someday and I know it won’t be very easy, but I still want to try. I WANT to be good at math and I WANT to be able to excel as a young adult despite my disabilities. So I would love to hear if anyone has any tips or advice for me.

So basically I’ve had this idea for my original world for a couple of months now but I’ve never really put it into motion because of some concerns. I’ve been wanting to make a race/species that that function like Selkies. But instead of being able to turn into seals they become wolves (basically my own interpretation of werewolves). It’s really the only part of inspiration that I am pulling from Selkies but idk if that would be somehow insulting to the folklore that Selkies originate from. So would this be ok for me to do?
