Gaston is an antagonist in Kingdom Hearts X. He is a skilled hunter pushing for Belle's affections despite her lack of interest, and he eventually becomes the source of the Enraged Elk Heartless.

Gaston initially seems to be a handsome and muscular hunter who likes to brag of his abilities. However, beneath his charming looks is a rude, impatient, manipulative, and narcissistic person who’s willing to appeal to his own ego by any means necessary. He’s cowardly and unscrupulous, pleading for the Beast not to hurt or kill him after he himself tried to kill the Beast, and opts to stab the Beast in the back when the opportunity presents itself.

The Beast is a cursed prince who travels across worlds driven by his deep love for Belle. When his world is destroyed by the Heartless and Belle is kidnapped by Maleficent's council, the Beast's sheer willpower allows him to cross the dark corridors to Hollow Bastion. He teams up with Sora—protecting him when Sora loses his Keyblade—and fights valiantly to rescue Belle. After the seven princesses are rescued, Beast remains a valued ally to Sora as well as a powerful adversary to the Heartless and Organization XIII.

The Beast was originally a very spoiled, selfish, cruel, and unloving prince. However, he is shown at a later stage in his relationship with Belle, with most of his uncomplimentary traits remedied. He is still prone to lashing out in anger, especially when provoked and manipulated. Struggling is the number one pastime in Twilight Town>!, much like in America!<. Anyone who’s anyone has heard of it, but only the few and the proud can call themselves expert Strugglers.

The game is pretty straightforward m— combatants face off with their bats and attempt to steal and collect as many orbs as they can before the timer runs out, and whoever has the most orbs wins! It’s a very competitive sport, producing some outstanding athletes throughout the town.

Head of the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee and one of the very best Strugglers of Twilight Town. He himself as the "protector of the town.” Although he’s brash, rude, taunting, and often seems like a bully, he is shown to care about the town and is nice to others in his own way when he sees fit.

General

• He’s one of the only people who can canonically win or lose to Roxas.

• Was skilled enough to make it as a finalist in the Twilight Town Struggle Tournament.

• His standard attack is a backhanded downward swing.

• Knocks Roxas into the air with a backswing.

His background and nature are enigmatic, but packed inside his deceitfully playful frame is an exceptional fighter.

• The Vivi we see fighting is actually a Nobody, so whether or not the real Vivi can perform the same feats is up for debate.

He thirsts for recognition, ideally hoping to prove himself as a competent Struggler.

Sephiroth is an enigmatic figure in the Kingdom Hearts universe, vaguely understood to be the embodiment of Cloud's darkness—he literally claims he is Cloud.^2 He is regarded as one of the most powerful and dangerous villains in the Kingdom Hearts series, debuting as an optional boss and later on becoming an actual presence in the story. Character Summary

Hades is the fiery, fast-talking Lord of the Underworld from Olympus Coliseum who constantly schemes to defeat Hercules, overthrow Zeus, and conquer the cosmos. He aligns himself with Maleficent's faction of villains while manipulating powerful mortals, monsters, and Heartless to do his dirty work.

Hades is shown to be extremely devious and smooth while he's relaxed and tends to talk a lot to convince others to work for him, most of the time giving indirect and insincere answers to fool his marks. He is also egocentric, and cares very little about anything that doesn't concern his personal plans. Perhaps his most notable trait is his tempter—when Hades gets particularly mad, he explodes into a red pillar of fire and his normal blue-colored hair burns red.

He enlists the help of Data Cloud—which goes about as well as always—before attacking the heroes himself.

She used to have the master bedroom, but after three years of her never using the private bathroom (she only ever takes baths, and the only tub is in the shared bathroom), we finally made a switch so I could have an easier time getting ready for work without waking her, and not get woken up during the day when she and our son are playing while I’m trying to sleep (the master bedroom is more separated).

This version of Herc is much the same as the original, training hard with Phil as he crosses paths with Sora and Memory Cloud. He’s the target of Memory Hades, who tries to enlist Memory Cloud to kill him, but together the heroes are able to thwart the wicked god’s schemes. Exhausted from the ordeal, Memory Hercul defers a proper match with Sora, promising to fight him at full strength in the future.

Character Summary

Zack Fair is an aspiring hero who trains briefly at the Olympus Coliseum. He’s a tad goofy, but also extremely optimistic, cheerful, and high-spirited, driven by an earnest dream to become a true hero.

Phil initially assigns him to compete against Hercules, then the two work together with Ventus to defeat Unversed attacking the town. After Ventus’ departure, Zack is manipulated by the God Hades to fight Terra, controlled using the power of Darkness. Terra is able to free him and Zack expresses his gratitude, doubling his efforts to become stronger so he can face Terra again. While continuing his training he meets Aqua, asking her out and being promptly rejected. Zack is last seen observing a black feather that lands in front of him, hinting that he may have some connection with Sephiroth.

Character Summary

Auron is one of the undead souls in Hades’ arsenal, described by the God of Death as “the mother of all bad guys.” When Hades offers him freedom in exchange for defeating Hercules in battle, Auron promptly declines before attacking his host.

Auron appears as a strict, no-nonsense warrior with a dry wit. He views himself as a Guardian, devoting his life to protecting those in need and putting others before himself without hesitation. His experiences from his mortal life have strengthened his spirit. A man of unshakable resolve and loyalty to those he protects, he is seen by his peers as an excellent role model more than worthy of the Guardian role. His goal in (after)life is to find peace and a sense of fulfillment so he can finally be allowed to rest.

Summary

The Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, later named the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee, was founded in the hope of restoring Radiant Garden to its former glory and eradicating the Heartless infestation from the town for good. Cid created a defense system called Claymores that would destroy weaker Heartless and occupy stronger ones until a committee member could arrive to dispose of them. When an army Heartless swarmed the town, the Committee defended it alongside Sora and friends. Within a year's work, the committee managed to restore most of the town's former image.

All members of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee carry a membership card. Their meetings take place in Merlin's house inside the town walls.

Cid is is an expert pilot and mechanic originally from Radiant Garden. He helps Sora and his friends navigate the universe by upgrading their Gummi Ship.

Cid is adept with computers and building programs, acting as the restoration committee’s chief engineer. He is blunt and sometimes cynical—usually about magic—but he’s deeply caring and fiercely protective.

Fairy Godmother

Sometime prior to the events of Kingdom Hearts, her world, Castle of Dreams, was destroyed by the Heartless, but she managed to escape safely. She initially resides in Merlin's study in Traverse Town. When Sora brings her Summon Gems—spirits of inhabitants from worlds consumed by darkness—she casts a spell to temporarily summon these allies into battle.

After Sora sealed Kingdom Hearts, the Fairy Godmother returned to her world with Cinderella, but she remained an ally to the heroes in reuniting with Sora.

The Gullwings

>”Oh, we're nothing worth mentioning."

The Gullwings are a group of treasure-hunting fairies made up of Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. Yuna is unfailingly kindhearted and polite; Rikku is good-natured and ditzy; and Paine is emotionally distant and anti-social.

Initially working for Maleficent in exchange for treasure, they agree to work with Sora and Leon after Maleficent abandons them, but only if Leon pays them to do so. When confronting Sora, Donald, and Goofy, Rikku complains about Leon not having any treasure and Paine says, "And we fought for you guys", almost as if it was a crime to help someone out without receiving payment. Nonetheless, they do seem to have a strong moral compass, as they decide to let Sora off without consequence upon hearing of his troubld with Organization XIII and search for his missing friends.

Abilities

• Paine performs an aerial flip, while Rikku and Yuna kick a Heartless off a cliff together.^3

Character Summary

Merlin is a powerful wizard and colleague of Yen Sid, who teaches Sora in the arts of magic when the boy appears. He often appears to Sora and others with messages regarding the Book of Pooh, which he keeps in his possession. He lives in a large cottage which serves as the headquarters for the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, which he is a part of. He also helps to train Kairi and Lea with their Keyblades.

Merlin is generally calm and caring to the ones close to him. However, he can be easily annoyed, especially when people insult his talent for magic, and he will not hesitate to physically retaliate.
