Options for buying a monitor that best matches my rtx 3050, amd 5 5500 with 16gb of RAM

As the title implies, im looking to upgrade my 60hz monitor for something more compatible with my current rig. Will be primarily used for gaming. Obviously not expecting top-notch performance given my set-up, but id like something that better represents what my rig is capable of and will last me a significant amount of time.

Last time I bought a monitor I spent hours trying to figure out why the visual quality of my games looked like crap despite my new monitor being better in every considerable way. Im not a big tech guy so most of the explanations went way over my head, and eventually I decided to just deal with the bad quality. (Didnt last long since it broke shortly after buying it lol)

Ive read that IPS and 144hz are the ideal specs I should be aiming for. But with how many options there are, and my previous bad experiences with other monitors, im not sure which direction to look in any more.

As far as budget goes, ideally looking at around R1500 ($100) so nothing fancy ofcours, but if there is significant need, I can up the budget to around R3000 ($200) and even R4000 ($250)

Currently based in South Africa 🇿🇦. Looking to play games like Cyberpunk, Spider Man 2 (where I noticed the issues most prominently)
