I can't get AC Odyssey to properly launch on Arch. First the Uplay splash appears, then the AC Odyssey splash screen, and then a black window.

The first time I played the game started up just fine. Since then I had a system upgrade and then the game stopped launching correctly.

I have already rolled back my graphics drivers to no avail.

I am open to any and all suggestions in attempting to get the game to launch.

Current setup
Proton: GE-Proton11-3
Launch Options: None (tried gamescope, gamemoderun)

• CPU: 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700K
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti
• GPU DRIVER: NVIDIA 610.43.03

As the title says, apps and websites are no longer loading after switching ISP.

I have a gigabit fibre connection. Everything is fine when I disable the VPN, load the app/site, and start the VPN again. Then it’s ok for 20-30 minutes and I have to repeat.

I don’t have this issue with ProtonVPN on my MacBook.

I have a UniFi network setup. I am not using the modem supplied by Virgin. I didn’t have this issue with my previous ISP (Sky).

In UniFi, my VLAN ID is 10, and MAC address cloning is enabled, DHCP, Auto DNS, etc.

Speeds are in line with what I normally expect on wired and wireless connections.

I have tried switching the different protocols(smart, wire guard, stealth). Also just offers a temporary fix. I have changed NetShield, VPN Accelerator, alternative routing. No permanent solutions found.

Has anyone had this issue and did you solve it?

Can we make macros and assign them to button clicks?

Example, I use long passwords, and when I play Final Fantasy 14, I am required to enter it each time I launch the game. I would like to make a macro specifically for the controller settings of FF14 that’d let me immediately input my account password.

I can’t see any obvious or easy way to do this other than adding a string of commands.
