Experienced ears : what is this sound?

The second we took it to our mechanic, on the drive over the whining sound stopped…. ((It’s like the day of your doctors appointment suddenly you feel great!)) (It started after a long drive, the day after) So of course he said if he can’t hear it he has no way of knowing. He checked the fluids and everything seemed fine. So we have no idea what’s wrong. Still this happens on and off. Gets a little louder when accelerating. Any ideas what this could be? Thank you!

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church / school reviews?

Hi all, I have found it an odd struggle to find any kind of reviews or discussion about Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church school, specifically for pre-K but I actually am not able to find anything besides two extremely old reviews on yelp one of which is not promising at all.

In addition, the school sent out an email to prospective parents bringing their students in for class mentioning cryptic things like “our experience last year was not something that we where proud of and are working our best to correct” type of thing.

To add to my concern, somebody posted on a sub, Reddit saying that they heard adult male screams coming from the basement of the church and other people commented that the church houses mentally disabled people which is not something that was ever mentioned to us by the school staff and is definitely concerning to facilitate people with mental health issues alongside children. If this is true, of course.

Does anyone have a firsthand experience with this church

I would really appreciate your feedback as a parent if your child attends the school or as someone who may attend the church in general. Really any feedback and reviews regarding the church would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Why does eBay side with buyers who obviously misuse the return policy?

I have been selling on eBay for many years now and have not had to deal with customers that don’t know how to read descriptions too often. Most of the time buyers will read what they’re purchasing and on the rare occasion, like the one I’m experiencing now you get someone who literally does not understand what they are buying.
For a reference point, I sold a doll ‘part, essentially a piece of clothing that was modeled on a doll as well as off the doll for reference on how it would fit. In my title, it clearly list this was for an accessory, in my description it mentioned multiple times that the dolls not included, to the point where I myself thought it was redundant. The buyer received the item and then claimed that they should have received the doll as well, even though I highlighted for them (via msg) everywhere in my description where it mentioned that no doll is included. Also, for the price point, this was a ridiculous ask in general.
They claimed item is not as described, and attached photos of the item which is in fact the exact thing that is in my listing. I was positive that eBay would not side with them because they are having buyers remorse and clearly misusing the return policy, but they ended up requiring me to accept the return for the item. I know returns are inconvenient and this is such a low price item that it’s not really an issue but by principal, it’s just very disappointing. I’m not sure why in this case eBay sided with the buyer, even though all the evidence and information was provided to them. It also didn’t help that this buyer was extremely rude to me and refused to admit that they didn’t read the description. How do people handle this kind of situation, and why does eBay ignore their own return policies?
I’ve always been so fixated on writing a detailed description. But Why bother writing such a detailed description in the first place if the buyer doesn’t bother reading and eBay doesn’t bother honoring the details.
