Do they ever state exactly how old Hannah was when she was first taken from June? Agnes is a “Gilead native” too, but old enough at its inception that she likely has some memories from before/during the coup that are deeply repressed, so how could Garth be her age or younger? How old is he supposed to be? He seems at least 18 or 19 at the VERY youngest in his character’s portrayal in the show. I want to like this show so badly, and I guess I’m enjoying the episodes so far, but my pedantic autistic brain cannot let go of these plot timeline discrepancies and blatant major changes to characters such that there is little/no connection to the character from the book lol. I can only suspend my disbelief so much!!
