Troubleshooting a Series S

Hey guys, I got a Series S for free from my buddy a while back who didn't want to try any repairs on it. It's far out of warranty and I don't have any nearby repair shops so I've been tinkering with it myself before I just give up.

The issue I'm having is that when you start playing a game it will close and drop to the dashboard somewhere between 30 seconds and 2 minutes into gameplay. Only installed games. If you go to stream one with cloud gaming it's fine.

Did some reading online and using one of the expansion cards for the games was recommended so I snagged one, still the same story.

Redid the thermal paste, same result.

Placed a fan next to the intake for fresh air, same thing.

My next step is to swap out the power supply and see if maybe that is failing.

Anyone else have any other suggestions that I may have missed?

Question for Killswitch and Savage Raven owners

Hey everyone, I've got a steam deck and a switch 2. I've tried so many grip options for the steam deck and what ended up being the most comfortable for me was Savage Ravens standgrip. I'm debating on getting that for my switch 2, but I know that it cannot dock.

Does anyone happen to have both cases for their switch 2? I'm curious if the standgrip works fine with the killswitch dock adapter. If so I may just order that separately for a mix and match solution. Otherwise I guess I'm just all in for a full Killswitch, it's just so expensive lol.

[US-IL][H] Paypal [W] Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokemon Pokopia

Looking for a couple Switch 2 titles, hoping to get some reasonable prices. I'd be open to Physical or Digital depending on the price, thanks!

Doesn't do it on every startup, but it does do this occasionally. Sound goes away after it runs for a bit.

Starts around 5 seconds in

I bought this Sentra just before COVID with around 30k miles on it and I uh...didn't know anything about the CVT until now 😅 it just hit 73k miles and I have an appointment setup for next week to get it drained and filled for the first time. Haven't noticed any issues with the car yet...but how badly did I goof by not getting it in at 60k. Oops.
