People downvoted me because I answered a question

So I made a post talking about a drink I tried and somebody asked me if the drink contained sugar or not I replied saying yes it did have sugar but me saying that got me downvoted??? Which I genuinely don't understand why I was asked a question I answered and for some reason that got downvoted

I LOVED. [The mercenary and the mortician by Alexandra St Pierre]

I accidentally forgot to post about this a while ago so I'm finally posting it now anyway

I can't tell you how much I love this book. I didn't think I would really enjoy it for some reason, but I read it not knowing a single thing about it. The first chapter already had me a little intrigued, and the more I read, the more I fell in love. Near the end of the middle of the book is where I really got obsessed. Before that, I only read a couple of chapters a day, but when it got to the end of the middle. I started reading it even more. Usually, I don't read over 100 pages, but with this book I didn't care. Even when I started getting a headache from reading so much, I continued to read. It's like I couldn't put it down even if I wanted to. I didn't want to do anything else but read the book, so that's what I did until I was finished. And you know what? The ending wasn't bad. The story felt like it was done really well. The characters had good development, and all the characters were likable (not Damian). May I also should mention, this book is the first book to ever make me actually feel so many Different emotions at once. One minute I'm happy and squealing, the next minute I'm crying, Then I'm disgusted because of some scenes/characters, But then another moment, I'm annoyed, and yet I end up being happy all over again, even after reading the book and still right now. I keep talking to my friends about the book. Do they really care? Not really, but I gotta talk about it with somebody. I genuinely think this book deserves more love. Also just to end this off, this book had a mix of everything I love like it was dark but not in a way that made it unenjoyable. It was the perfect balance of dark and messed up for me, and for all of these reasons, this book gets a solid 5/5 stars which I barely give a book a 5/5 rating so this shocked even me. But this book doesn't deserve anything lower.

Just finished [Make me by Alina May]

Before I say anything this is my opinion if you do not agree that's fine we all have different opinions anyway.

Let me just start with saying the beginning of the book had me intrigued I enjoyed it at first but I have a lot of complaints which is why I gave it a 2 star rating.

Reason 1. Logan and his nonstop mentions of Greyson I get it he's upset and can't let go of the person he loved I understand that because I've been there but he mentioned Greyson so many times and to be honest it feels like he only liked Ronan because he reminded him of Greyson.

Reason 2. The story felt rushed it didn't feel like it was written well when it came to the story pacing.

Reason 3. Ronan pissed me off when him and Dakota had their first "sex" scene it made me feel uncomfortable as fuck it felt like Ronan forced himself onto Dakota and it was just a weird scene and I did not enjoy it.

Reason 4. The relationship between the three just didn't seem that special I think only Logan and Ronan should've stayed together because Dakota just was put there between the two it but either way it all just felt off and didn't seem like an actual relationship.

In conclusion I would've dropped this book but by the time I was really hating it was near the end of the middle part of it so I sucked it up and stayed do I recommend this book? No. Just read the first book in the series it was so much better but this book was just waste potential and time.

Any good dark romance lesbian book recommendations?

So recently, my friend and I really want to find good dark romance books involving a lesbian couple, and all we can really ask for is something not too dark, something with good story, and a decent amount of spice.

So, I was in freeplay coloring my outfit, and this girl kept coming up to me. At first I was like, okay she's probably just looking at my outfit. It was a little weird because she didn't say anything, but whatever. Then I noticed every time she came up to me, she had a new item on she was putting on the items I had on and quickly tried to run away and come back. GIRL. just get creative and make your own outfits or just ask if you can copy my outfit. IS IT THAT HARD?! but seriously people like this are annoying af.

So I've been sick for 3 days now, and today my throat and chest have hurt really badly only when I cough, laugh, try to speak, or breathe. Now, if you're feeling this pain, you would try avoiding doing most of those things, right? Of course, I can't avoid breathing, but it doesn't hurt that bad when I do that. So it's so bad ig?? anyway, talking is the main issue, but even if I try to talk, nothing comes out, so it's a waste to even try. I've been silent all day no sounds come out of my mouth but my lovely family has decided to turn it into a joke. My mom made jokes saying I must be a mute now and that I need to learn sign language. And that I'll end up "Making weird faces, those people make." Her words not mine. wow, Mom, sooooooo funny what a comedian you are?! But besides my mom, my younger brother wanted to join in all day. He kept telling me to talk. I sent him texts telling him it hurt when I tried, and I don't want to feel pain, but he keeps saying I should just ignore the pain and talk anyway. I asked him why he wanted me to talk so badly, but he never gave me an actual answer, which made me just more annoyed. You guys don't need me to talk, but you want me to just because 1. maybe you don't believe me that it hurts 2. you wanna laugh at me being in pain, or 3. you have some other annoying reason. Either way, fuck you. The only person who actually cared is my dad; he asked me if the pain was that bad. I nodded my head, and he just said he was sorry. He even offered me stuff when I needed it, but my mom and brother just wanted to laugh, make jokes, and be annoying. My brother even said, "Well, when I was sick, it wasn't that bad for me." WE. ARE. NOT. THE. SAME. PERSON.

Okay, I didn’t really know how to explain this in the title, so I’m sorry for that, but this isn’t an official idea just a little idea I thought of and wanted some feedback on to see if it’s a good idea or not.

Anyway, while writing my main story, I have been writing side stories so I don’t get bored of writing and actually stay motivated. One idea I had for a side story is that basically every chapter is a diary entry of the main character. I tried to figure out how I could tell her story, but nothing seemed right. Her character keeps a diary and writes in it all the time, mainly for her mental health. Then an idea came up in my head what if the book is basically her diary, and you read her story through her diary entries? Now, I personally like this idea, but again, I’m not sure. I am also curious if they're any books out there in the world that are like this, and if they are, please tell me the names so I can look into them. Thank you so much!

Yesterday, I made a harmless post just showing screenshots of this funny, stupid drama that happened to me in DTI, and this person with the username Own-Angle-6616 went crazy on me. If you see my post, you'll see her comments. Anyway, I saw how she did the same thing to another person's post in this subreddit. So this is just a warning/heads-up this girl is questionable and just a headache. If you post something and she starts spamming you with all this weird nonsense, don’t even try to argue with her just block her. I made the mistake of trying to have a conversation with her, even in private, and it was just nonsense. Hopefully, she goes away. And save your brain the headache.

Now, for some context before you read the screenshots I was standing at a wall next to where Lana basically is, and I've always stood there just because if I need to change something, everything is already there, and I can quickly go to it. Anyway, nobody was in that spot, so I went there not thinking anything of it. This girl who started the argument came up to me and started saying I took her spot. Later, another girl got involved trying to get the annoying girl away from me, and the whole time this was going on, the annoying girl was standing in front of me, so I couldn't see my outfit (though I could still see my outfit, but she tried covering me, I guess? Also she did go away and say bye only to later come back and act like some new person???) Anyway, enjoy reading this weird drama 😭
