I just feel so defeated

I don’t know why I’m typing this, I just need to rant and get it off my chest. I’m so heartbroken and defeated.

I’ve been EP for 9 months and have always had a little extra milk to freeze. I have always been very careful not to miss pumps, and I’ve just been working so so hard to maintain my supply. I don’t have a ton in the freezer, but I was saving it for when my daughter hit 1 year old.

Over the last couple months, I’ve been having severe stabbing stomach pain, which has made me unable to eat or drink much these past few weeks. I went to the ER, and was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. I’m scheduled to see a specialist, but not for another month.

My milk supply is tanking and there’s nothing I can do about it. I’m in pain, still struggling to eat and drink, and the foods I can eat are low in calorie. I’m having to go into my freezer stash every day, and it’s just breaking my heart.

I had this whole plan about how I’d make it to one year, then use the freezer milk, but things are not going as planned and I’m just struggling to cope with this new chronic disease diagnosis.

On top of this, my daughter has FPIES, so she throws up uncontrollably after eating foods that trigger her. The stress of managing her condition and mine are eating me alive.

I’m not sure why I’m posting this here, maybe just hoping for some support, but I’m just really going through it y’all.

What kind of pumping bras do you guys use? I’m so tired of having zero support.

Why do all pumping bras have something about them that suck?! I haven’t been able to find any that are supportive, don’t stretch out, hold pumps well, are comfortable, etc.

Mine also always make my boobs look sooo weird and have so many bumpy lines that show under my shirt.

Letdowns are getting more spread out. What can I do?

I’m 7 months pp and I pump 6 times per day, about every 3 hours.

I usually produce about 4-5 oz per pump during the day. I have letdowns at around 2 min, 10 min, 20 min, and 25 min.

Over the last week or so, I’ve only been having letdowns at 2 min, 10 min, and 30+ min. And my supply has decreased from 36 oz per day to about 30-32, and I’ve been making 3-4 oz per pump during the day.

I just replaced my pump parts about two days ago and am still having this problem. I know people say your supply can drop around 7 mpp but I’ve been very diligent in my pumping schedule.

What else can I do about this? Has this happened to anyone else? I’ve started trying to power pump in the mornings. Thank you in advance for the help!!

Has anyone tried the microwaveable Annie’s white cheddar shells?

What do you guys think about it? I think they taste sooo different than the original version. The stovetop version is so much better to me, but that’s the case with basically every microwavable mac & cheese.

Also, this is my first post here! I thought you guys would like my username. I am a huge mac & cheese enthusiast.

6 month old’s arm after a bath. Is it just heat rash? Or is it something concerning?

Please help!! I noticed this rash on my six month old’s arm after a bath. This photo is of her left arm. She only has a couple of these red bumps on her right arm, though. She does not have a rash anywhere else on her body. Also, after taking this photo, I put a mild unscented lotion on it just in case it was dry/eczema.

I gave her eggs and green peas to eat earlier today, about 7 hours ago. It was her fourth time having eggs and she hasn’t had any reaction before. It was her first time having peas.

She also received a DTaP vaccine today around 9 AM but hasn’t had a reaction to the 2 previous doses.

Is this an allergic reaction to something? Or just a heat rash from the bath? Is there anything I should do about it? It’s time for her to go to bed, and I’m worried about her overnight because I can’t take her clothes off to check on her while she is sleeping.

This is how many bags I have to pack just to leave the house for a couple of hours.

Two backpacks, a diaper bag, a giant purse, a pump and pump parts. I’m tired 🫠

Anyone else in the same situation here? I barely have enough room in my car for it all.

Edit: For those wondering why I bring so much—we drive about an hour to church every Sunday, then usually visit family afterward. Depending on the day, we’re gone anywhere from 3 to 6+ hours, so I pack for the possibility of being out much longer than expected.

That means bringing my Spectra, wearables, milk cooler, bottles, pump parts, books, toys, and other baby essentials. I’m also a pretty anxious packer after forgetting pump parts before. 😭

I bring both my Spectra and wearables because I try not to use my Eufys for multiple pumps in a row. I got mastitis from doing that once, so I don’t want to risk it again.

Does anyone know what these bumps on my arms are or how to get rid of them?

These appeared a couple of months ago on my arms. I’m 6 months postpartum and I also exfoliate my arms sometimes if that is relevant. Does anyone know what these are or how to get rid of them?

My recent pumping disaster

Hey guys, I thought you might find humor in my recent misfortune. Idk if this is allowed here, though, so sorry if it’s about an nsfw topic.

So basically, it was about time for me to pump, and my husband was tryna get zesty. He was like “can you use your portables and come join me ;)”

So I did. It was the second time I’d ever used my Eufy S1s.

And everything seemed fine.

Until I removed my pumps from my bra.

No milk. I thought…hmmmm that’s odd. I wonder if something’s wrong with my milk supply?

Then I looked more closely at my nips…and I had 15mm hickeys on both areolas. 😭 apparently my pumps had moved in my bra during the commotion and SOMEHOW I had no idea???

Anyway, ever since then I’ve been kind of scared to use my wearables. And I definitely periodically check to make sure they’re on right during pumping sessions now…and I try not to “multitask” as much while pumping.

TL;DR: I got nip hickeys from my portables after spicy time.

How do you guys entertain your LO while you pump?

My 6 mo is getting slightly too big for her bouncer, which is usually where I put her while I pump. Also, I’m a SAHM, so I watch her alone most of the time.

We also have a play mat but she keeps rolling off of it, and I can’t chase her around while pumping (I’ve tried lol it was a failure). I’m currently considering getting a playpen.

I was just curious to hear if anyone has any recommendations for how to keep her busy but safe while I’m pumping. And is this a struggle for anyone else??

Does anyone know what these clear/red raised bumps on the inside of my lip are?

They don’t really hurt but they feel kind of annoying when my lips touch. They’ve also been there a few days.
