So there’s no 10.5 listed. I bought an 11, which is close enough, but when I look at my Shopify app it says I bought a 42 (which in Brazilian sizes is apparently a 10). I’m super confused. Does anyone have any insight for me?
I don’t hate these. They are a really springy and bouncy under foot, which I like. The upper is stiff and they are hard to slip into. The texture of the polymer pulls at the socks as you slip into them making the socks feel extra tight. There isn’t a lot of give in the material, and so the points of friction don’t break in or get softer. They just kind of…keep being points of friction. They aren’t uncomfortable, but they aren’t exactly comfortable either. I’ll have more opinions by the end of the day, I’m sure.
I like them. Not my favorite Bronson collab but comfort-wise they are pretty good. It’s essentially a 2010 with a fancier and more stylish upper. I think this is the better of the two colorways available.
So I know people are getting their cards in, and most people seem to have gotten an email about the cards. I have heard nothing and received no emails. Am I alone in this? Has anyone else been seemingly forgotten?
I’m a fan of the 1890 and I preferred this white one to the black jjjjound. That said, the black one is starting to grow on me.
Nostalgic for Brazil’s good old days. Pretty bummed that Brazil was knocked out but tbh they just weren’t that good this year. Hopefully someone can take out Argentina.
I’m a sucker for glow in the dark accents on shoes, and I love the Gel-Lyte III. I bought this pair TTS, but unlike other GL3’s, this one feels a little snug. I wear a 10.5 which is an EU 44.5 but these are somehow a 43.5 while being a 10.5.
As a big fan of the 1890, I was happy to see the midsole put on a new silhouette with some premium materials. These are a great hybrid of everything I like about the MiUSA pairs and the best of the MiAsia pairs. I look forward to seeing more colorways, because I think that’s the thing I like least about this first release.
This has to be one of the best 991v2 colorways ever. Easily top 5.
I love the 1890. I think this is the best one. I am glad I didn’t hesitate when they dropped because I doubt I’d pay the resale prices for these. A lot of NB heads hate on the silhouette because it departs from the “Dad Shoe” aesthetic they (and I) love so much, but these are undeniably comfortable. The 1890 is worth a try in any colorway. (I’m hoping for a Salehe Bembury collab)
I can’t explain my love for the Gel Lyte 3. There is no reason these should be so comfortable compared to other more modern silhouettes. The materials and construction of these are both impeccable. The suede is beautiful.
Don’t see these much anymore. They are super loud.
I have been wanting a pair of Pegasus Premiums for a little while now. Glad these were my first pair. These are super comfortable and I love the look.
When I pulled these out to put them on this morning my 11-year old’s eyes got big and he said “Oh WOW!! Those are SICK, dad!!!”
So I don’t care what anyone else thinks. My son thinks I’m cool and that’s all that matters.
