i have 2 qt jars ready to go but haven’t decided whether to go with one 12qt tub or two 7.5qt tubs.
questions is have you had better luck in smaller tubs this strain or is it all the same?

i ended up putting a whole pack of the MGK manure booster so guessing that’s why it took so long to fruit. fruits came out pretty cool looking too!

these are looking amazing again, second flush came pretty quick after the first. will let these run one more day and will harvest tomorrow 🙌
ended up harvesting now bc the caps seemed ready since my last posted (couple hours ago) . way more squishier than before
so I feel like I let my last ABV go too long and they came out a weird color so I’m wondering if this is the best time to pick them. oddly enough, they came from the same syringe and I use the same grain however, they expressed completely different. I pinched the stipe of one of them and it’s still kind of hard. Is that an indicator that I could let it go a little longer?
The ones I harvested yesterday were really soft so I’m wondering if these are not mature yet any help is appreciated

this one took me a couple months to grow because I kept having contaminated spawn, but I finally got it to take. definitely looks different than most of the ABV’s that I’ve seen. in fact, it looks completely different from another tub. I have going which uses twice as much spawn but same ratio. that’s in a 12 quart tub.
last two pics are my other ABV inoculated and sent on same day as my 7.5qt which harvested today. bigger tubs take a little longer i’ve noticed.

these look amazing and just wanted to share here as well. they definitely love to cluster but out a nice full canopy 🔥
these fruited really quick, the blueing is mesmerizing. i noticed they grew in clusters and i tore up my sub harvesting. will this effect future flushes? should i add coir again?

thanks to all who replied yesterday to my post, i went ahead and sent the ABV yesterday but ran out of sub so made more and sent the rest today. here’s what i got in fruiting conditions (bc i skip colonization of sub)
added a 20qt box to the mix to avoid having to dub tub when the fruits get bigger
everything is 1:2 sub ratio
manure was mixed into the blasher and abv tubs 🤞
will continue to update on the grow
strains: ABV, TWAMAK, COSMIC BLUE, BLASHER
the only 3 i’m worried about is the ABV. the TWAMAK has been ready for weeks but was waiting for other jars to catch up hence why it’s so dense.

every flush has looked a little different and i’m loving it. these definitely had bigger caps than the other two flushes. got some pretty cool mutations again 🔥
idk i’ve grown a few different strains so id like to believe i know but this growth isn’t giving me mycelium vibes. this is ABV and Cosmic blue.
is this mycelium or different kind of mold. i had jars in the past that looked similar and it was all trich. i know waiting will tell but thought id ask my fellow mushers and others may be in similar stages im in currently
is this the good mold or bad mold is the question?
