Room Fortress | Xboxes Attack!!!

Room Fortress - was made for two reasons:

  1. To create a super-simple game with short sessions — something you can open, play for a couple of minutes, and close.

  2. Just to have some fun. The mini-game was made for Ukrainian Geek (Pavlo), a gaming blogger and just a really cool guy. I decided to make something silly and have some fun with it. In the game, he defends himself from Xboxes, while his assistant is his cat Eloy - a reference to the famous red-haired Aloy.

One more detail: both the interface and the controls were inspired by the Nintendo Game & Watch Egg (EG-26).

URBAN LIFE | Rhino

Hey everyone! Today I want to show you a vector artwork I created for a T-shirt design.

It was part of a small series, and honestly, I don’t even know if the T-shirt is still being produced. So I’m not sharing this as an advertisement, since I don’t even know where you could buy it now.

I just wanted to show another direction for vector artwork. Maybe it’ll inspire someone to create some cool merch of their own.

Come to the dark side of vector art… we have cookies. 😈 Vector rules! :)

Surgeon

Hi everyone! Here’s the story behind the artwork and the character.

This was for a small game jam where the challenge was to come up with a character and their story.

As my skills improve, I often go back and redraw some of my older work. That’s what I did here too — I kept the original story, but redesigned the character. I’ll add the first version (pic_2) to the gallery as well.

---------------------------------------------------------------

History: Candy “Sugar” was a former supermodel, the face of countless fashion magazines, the queen of the catwalk — and completely obsessed with beauty.

Then came the accident.

A truck carrying explosives crashed near a photo shoot, turning her perfect life into a nightmare. Candy lost both arms and was left covered in scars after countless operations.

When she finally woke up in the hospital, she saw herself in the mirror: a scarred body, two biomechanical prostheses, and a face she could barely recognize.

She snapped.

Consumed by hatred and blaming all of humanity for what had happened to her, Candy decided that if she couldn't be beautiful anymore, nobody deserved to be.

Taking the name “Surgeon”, she declared her new motto:

“If I’m not like everyone else, then everyone will become like me!”

And so began her twisted revenge.

Surgeon started hunting people down and “fixing” them — cutting off their limbs and replacing them with whatever bizarre junk she could find. Sometimes she simply took their body parts away.

Because, in her mind, beauty is all about perspective.

And she has a very, very sharp perspective.

Instead of a scalpel, Surgeon wields two deadly blades made from samurai swords.

“Chess Queen” | From Sketch to Street

Hey! Continuing my “From Sketch to Street” series, today I’m showing you “Chess Queen.”

This one turned into a pretty wild little hell-mobile 😄 And this particular car has traveled all over Europe and even made it to a few festivals. Maybe some of you have actually seen it in person!

I’ll post some more pics and details in the comments!

Hope you enjoy it, and good luck with your own creative projects! 🙌

Helping Grandma Get Her Cat Back From Hell 😈🐱😈

Hi! This is a small game I made in Construct. I actually rebuilt it twice because optimization is something you really need to think about from the beginning. When I made the original version, I was pretty inexperienced and believed all those YouTube videos where they make it look like: “One, two, and your game is ready!” 😂

The idea is pretty simple: you move through several rooms and collect the items shown in a magic book. But there’s a little twist — I made it so the same item can appear in different places and look different depending on where you find it, so you really have to pay attention.

And once you know which items you’re looking for, you can even compete with your friends to see who can find them the fastest. The sessions are short and there aren’t that many items, but I can assure you, it won’t be as easy as it sounds. 😄

😈 You can try it completely free on itch.io!

“Noodles” | From Sketch to Street

Hey! I wanted to share a small contribution to the community through my work — and maybe introduce someone to a design direction they haven’t discovered yet.

I’m starting a little series called “From Sketch to Street,” where I’ll share artwork I’ve created for car wraps. I want to show that vinyl doesn’t have to be just one color, and that there are people all over the world turning their cars into fun, sometimes completely crazy, visual experiments.

Let’s start with “Noodles.” This one has been shown at a few exhibitions, and I hope it brought some positive vibes to the people who saw it.

I’ll drop a few videos in the comments showing the wrapping process on one of the cars, plus a video of how the artwork looks on a different car.

Hope you enjoy it, and good luck with your own creative projects! 🙌

Noodle time! 🐱🐟🍜

Hey! Here’s one of my works "Noodles" for Friday evening, just to keep the good vibes going — for 🐱 cat lovers, 🐱🍜 noodle-cat lovers, 🐟 fish lovers, or simply fans of our beloved vector art.

I’m still trying to pull more people over to the dark side of vector art, because it can actually be pretty cute over here too. We don’t only draw hellish stuff :)))😈

Pink Samurai

Hey! This started out as nothing more than a little drawing exercise. Then I thought, “Why not make it a T-shirt design?” So I made some changes and added the car. And then, somehow, it ended up becoming a concept for a car wrap. 😂

So yeah… this thing has basically gone through all the stages of creative madness. 😄

Red Shovel Rabbit

Hey! Here’s a little project I made in Construct. I originally made it as something to play while killing some time at the barbershop, and somehow this little prototype actually made it all the way to release :)

It’s super simple — you control everything with one hand and tap with one finger to jump between the three circular lanes. Your job is to help a rabbit with a red shovel collect as many carrots as possible.

Simple, but surprisingly challenging :) You can play it on (https://madpoint.itch.io/red-shovel-rabbit), and there’s also a link to Google Play there if you want something to kill 5 minutes.

Good luck with your projects, everyone!

Kong & Fury

Hey!

Wanted to share another one of my vector artworks. I’ve still got plenty of material, but I don’t want to spam the sub or break any rules, so I’ll probably stick to posting once a week, maybe twice at most.

Hopefully I can inspire some more people the same way other artists inspire me — and maybe bring a few more people over to the dark side of vector art. :))

Vector rules! :)

From prototype to... a new game:)

Hey! Prototypes don’t always make it to release, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

I started building a city prototype in Construct where a duck with a gun would run around, and everything was going pretty well. But then something interesting happened — I finally found four like-minded people, and we started working on a new game together.

The most important part is that during the long development process, there were several times when I thought the team was going to fall apart. But we actually made it to the finish line, and now we’re preparing the release on Google Play — marketing, setting up the store page, and all that stuff.

As for the prototype I was working on — more specifically, the art style and the city — I kept developing and improving those ideas, and they eventually became the foundation of our game’s visual style.

So I guess these are basically archival footage now, but I don’t regret making it at all. :)

Good luck with your projects, everyone!
