I tried to find my old post where I had documented this issue mentioned and someone had suggested some advice but Reddit history doesn’t go back that far. I just wanted to post what I found out.

What I was encountering was the inability for NordVPN to connect when switched over to cellular. It was never an issue before with the previous subscription. For some reason with the new subscription, this was encountered.

Many fruitless efforts to no avail until this memory. About six months ago or so Apple did an update where eSIM no longer supported FaceTime and a couple other services. Well long story short it required a physical SIM card to also correct this issue. Stupid Apple.

I can’t seem to find any information. Does anyone have any ideas when or what’s going on? I hope it’s soon - they are so much fun.

Everyone here has seen the chaos. How about the most memorable install?

I arrived 30 minutes early so I called and no answer so I went to the door. I proceeded to knock 2 or 3 times. I could hear someone waking up upstairs.

Still no answer so I rang one more time. I hear a slight swear , a loud thump against the exterior wall.
Then this frazzled looking 30’s lady answers the door and it looks like she’s had a rough night.

I proceed with the install. During install I noticed dvd / tv were warm. No big deal. Minutes later, I accidentally bumped the eject and out comes this wild porno video.

“Um you might want to take this out if there’s kids around.” She was a lil embarrassed. No big deal. 5 minutes later - As I’m behind the tv / the power cord catches and it’s stuck. I pull a couple times when all of a sudden it releases and this toy flys up and bonks me in the forehead.

The woman shrieked as I proceed to pickup up the the offending unit. She quickly grabs the fuzziest gnarliest warmest dildo I’ve ever seen out of my hand. Her face was flush red. Screaming all the way upstairs 😝 and I proceeded to leave avoiding saying “if there’s anything else you need” 😆

That’s right up there with my craziest experiences.

This will likely get pulled for being a low quality post but man when corporate starts smearing and deleting the replies from people - it’s ugly. Something about this is nauseating me as déclassé🤢🤮

I quit smoking and quit vaping but once in a while - yet I still love a cigar. A customer of mine gave me a pack of chocolate cigarettes a couple years ago and I still get a craving for them. Hello fine people. I’ve tried this subscription now for a month. I’ve seen some benefits, but I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s frustrating. That I need to describe things so granular for it to get it right - that I might as well just do it all myself.

I see now why apple sandbox ruins the integration and I need to ditch this Apple highway attitude.

*However ChatGPT- the amount of times I have corrected your skew exceeds 6.

*The amount of iterations you erroneously reproduce is unbelievable waste of resources

*When basic tasks like flow charts are displayed as botched text from a terminal instead of beautiful (OG)visio mind styled mappings.

*Things goes horribly askew with your interpretation then after 80% it now violates some obscure terminology gone wrong on my end?

*No, you can’t even reread our conversations without needing to be reminded. That’s childish behaviour.

I guess I just need to learn the interface better because I admit that I have a communication issue. I’m trying to use this to help me recovery from a TBI and with that and I see lacklustre efforts via constraints.

Any better platforms for a less stressful assistant ? Is Apple ai useful? Or Claude? Etc?
