Somebody already posted that Tenbarge settled with Alexa. But there is more to it. Kat Tenbarge made an apology thread on X and oh boy. She admits to everything.

We already knew she used unethical journalistic tactics and even enabled a restrained stalker. Alexa’s complaint makes clear that she also coordinated a smear campaign against Alexa because she couldn’t just say she was wrong and admit the failure of proper research (imo she knew exactly that she lied). But using Adam M and others to do the dirty work for her is unbelievable.

Fingers crossed for the punitive damages and attorneys fees Alexa demanded 🤞

This is a win as it shows that freelance journalist can’t get away with everything. I hope this is closure for Alexa.
