Big haul from Metro U. I'm super hyped to wear the jacket and cardigan this autumn and winter!! The jacket is super warm and comfy (almost a bit big aha...), and the cardigan is lovely. I also got a new cloth bag, a badge holder, new keychain, stickers, and two Metro wands!! One I am giving to someone who requested one earlier.

I also picked up the Silver Spring and U-Pass trading cards. I'm still looking for the Reston Town Center card, if anyone is willing to trade. As for the last picture.. if anyone knows how to fix this split in the 3D printed material, let me know please!!

Metro Pulse currently lists the fare in the pic above as $2.50, but it should be listed as $6.75. It's likely the same for all other long trips.

Just boarded on my Pylon photography quest. Train 7170. It's extremely jittery at speed along the Dulles Toll Road.

About a week ago, I made this post asking for advice on how to get a picture of the Pentagon Station Pylon for my project. Yesterday, I braved the smoke and ended up getting this stunning picture. I have less processed versions, but this is the one that I am most proud of. I have a few new stations too, and plans for the Largo and Carrollton segments of the Metro. If anyone has any suggestions on what kind of picture to get for a station, let me know!

I stopped by today to continue my Pylon Picture project and saw this. Does anyone have any information on when this started and when the pylon will be back?

Hello friends! I'm working on a project to get a picture of at least one pylon outside each Metro station that has one. I've added a few that I've gotten already. The hardest station to get a picture of the pylon will be the Pentagon. I called WMATA Customer Service on Tuesday and spoke with Wendy. I was told that it would be ok with WMATA to get a picture of the pylon. I plan on trying to go early on Saturday.

I have yet to talk to the Pentagon Police about it. I take my pics with a Nikon D750 and a 24-70mm lens and I'd rather not have those be confiscated. I know of an angle already that will keep the vehicle checkpoint and the Pentagon itself out of the picture. Are there any suggestions on how I should go about this?

I could not be more excited about the water bottle. I just found out about it this week and became obsessed. The hat was the secondary goal, as I love the WMATA Metro System. The shirt was a bonus, and I live along the Silver Line so I had to give it some love. The bag and the card were awesome additions.

I'm going to continue to be non-stop about the bottle, except now I'll be thrilled I got it and not anxious I'll miss it (until the next pop-up).

These two are well beyond the white stop mark at a red light. Just NOVA things.
