We moved on a little too quickly from how freaking amazing no 50\50 is. Mind you average character pull is in 52 pulls. So if you’re a little greedy and want BOTH characters per patch you can just opt in for undoubtedly the best monthly pass in any gacha.

People who aren’t familiar with the gacha space might not know how absolutely insane of a notion is.

Shit ton of free pulls and currency from events. More than a decent amount of customization options(outfits, home building, car customization, etc). And you can get a good amount of it for free by just playing the game.

This is the only game where being completely f2p doesn’t feel like you’re trying to pull your nails out.

I can’t go back to other gacha where I can spend months saving for a character just to lose the 50/50 and have all of it be obsolete.

This is also the only gacha I’ve ever introduced to card-kun. No 50/50 really does a lot to make you feel like you’re not just pissing money away.

For reasons unrelated to me pulling Mint’s mystery box, I’m now her biggest fan.

She’s the poster girl for the game, has the most voicelines with character swaps, and the most outfits. Despite all this she gets zero playtime in metas, and has no utility in exploration. 😿

As a resolution I’ll accept a free S class upgrade for her, with a brand new moveset and a brand new arc. I’m thinking a perfect date will be during the new Year or the anniversary. I also know how you like money Hotta so why not sync it with the current mystery box rerun as well.

Also. Hotta make sure the S class variant shares a wardrobe with the A class version or you’ll never see Card-kun again.

Alright this is definitely a shot in the dark but someone might have an idea. I want to pull for Mint’s swimsuit outfit but pulling an outfit for a character I’ll never use is ehh.

I know there’s a decent likelihood we’ll get S class variants but how likely is it they’ll share wardrobes. I’d be a lot more compelled to pull for the mystery box if I know for a fact I can use the outfit in the future.

Gives +200 affection to any one character daily. Some characters have character specific hangout options. Movie theater and Ferris wheel open to all (besides some standard characters)

Completely forgot for the past two months that this was an option and missed out on a shit ton of free affection points.

The nearby NPC conversation went something like this “can I park here” 😂

It feels like there’s always something going on and it seems like every day I run into some new foolishness happening in the city.

It gives the city soul unlike how in other games cities are just a backdrop that feel like a ghost town.

Holy shit that was so much fun. I’ve always known about the tomb raider games but never got around to playing them. Story games in the past few years have been lackluster (in my opinion) so I haven’t played a campaign game in a while. And this game had every bit of soul and art direction I was missing.

Saw the survivor trilogy was free through ps plus on PS5 and said why not. I genuinely had such a blast playing I almost want to buy the game because this much fun shouldn’t be free😂. I haven’t had this feeling of wanting to inject a game into my veins after playing it in soooo long.

I’ve seen some people online say the classics are better and this remaster doesn’t measure up and I thankfully don’t have that frame of reference because as of rn this game is peak. I will be completing the survivor series and maybe even give the remakes a shot as we wait for the next game to come out.

Also I realize I’m extremely lucky with my timing of playing this game with another release around the corner god bless. Lara is such a badass and I now understand why she has such a cult following 😂

One complaint however, what the hell is the screen shake and please tell me we get a toggle to turn it off in the next few games. I’ve had to turn off my monitor every now and then to not throw up all over my set up.

I love this games references, it’s always surprising how bold they are with them.

Also the little ode to Future trunks and his mission, awesome.

Minor spoilers…..

You guys were right, 999 nights was awesome. I wasn’t even going to fully build Shinku but now I’m considering buying her dragon armor 😂. From the gear, to the world, to the combat it genuinely felt like a love letter to RPGs.

I enjoyed the story a lot more than I thought I would. The writing has progressively gotten better from the yap fest that was Chapter 5 and we’re still waiting for the completion of Chapter 6.
However so far this chapter in my opinion is by far the best in terms of writing and pacing. Makes me think that them choosing to rewrite Chapter 6 part 2 was probably for the best.

The dice board game idea is in itself genius and the way they implemented actual RPG mechanics was impressive. Even down to the fact that you were given the freedom to divert from the main path to fully explore and come across important subplots and items was so well done.
I saw in a previous post thread that NTE’s parent company is actually known for their RPG games and if that’s the case I can definitely see the inspiration.

I loved the plot point with dice lord (nifty little bastard) and Shinku and I wonder what the dice lords motives were in helping her; if he had any. And if so I hope we’ll get more insight into the dice lord anomaly itself because it seemingly has a lot of depth to it complete with a personality.

I’m hopeful we will get more of 999 nights too because the game mode is too good for them to simply drop. Hopeful for more regions and even brand new board game types.

Also halfway through the story I changed Zero’s gender just to switch up it and in my opinion it made the story flow a lot better. Made it feel less like an isekai harem and more like a genuine story of friendship and trust. 😂

Chaos’s remora bomb hits even if you put quite a bit of distance between you and the Garuda.
Good for farming; you virtually spend no time fighting them.

I see a lot of people struggling with just barely missing a clear in Beyond the Rails and I wanted to remind everyone of the goat. Baicaing’s ult immediately kills at 5% hp regardless of his character or ability level so you can stick him on a lvl 60 team and still get value.

Combined with the Essence Surge power up that takes away 10% of health immediately; that’s an instant 15% of health deleted instantly. This could easily add up to a 30 second difference in time so it’s extremely significant, especially in BTR.

I just learned that putting them all in the same formation grants ETD-4 specific cycle abilities which is AWESOME (still trying to fully figure it out). I love attention to detail that connects story and lore to combat.

They definitely have the best voice lines amongst each other when switching.
Honorable mentions:
Baicang in a very angry tone “Why don’t you pick on someone your own size.” When switching from Lacrimosa (so adorable)
Fadia in a very cheeky tone “Well that didn’t take very long, can’t say I’m suprised” when switching from Baicang (adds to the animosity between them we see during chapter 1)

Also as I was trying to figure out some builds that add to their team chemistry I realized that Sakiri’s sig might work better on Skia than his BIS because it supports Baicang and Mosa who’ll spend most of the time on field.
So imagine my surprise and joy when I noticed how accurate the arc’s name was to Skia 😂 “Good Boy’s Grand Adventure”. Just wonderful

Do you think Lacrimosa’s Sig arc is worth it and if you’ve pulled it how much better a QOL change is it with her arc. Honestly for me personally I really don’t like her attack visuals (veiny frying pans) and the weapon aesthetic change with her Sig arc is a huge factor for me.

Also just looking at the numbers her next BIS (according to prydwen) is at about 87% her damage potential; while the past two limited characters we had had their next BIS be at around 95%+ so you could comfortably skip their sig arcs and not really feel it.

I understand it’s probably because as of right now we only have 2 chaos characters and we might see a char in the future who’s weapon you could stick on Mosa but there’s no telling when that could be.

Do you think I should just skip it or maybe wait until chaos and see what his numbers are looking like and see if he has better luck with the arcs we have right now.
