The buzz on my local pen WhatsApp is about the daily teasers from Hobonichi and what covers need to be filled versus new ones to be purchased. In Chic Sparrow covers we can get multiple years of use.
My question is what planner will you insert in your Chic Sparrow for the next calendar year?

The ChicSparrow cover is for planners and notebooks. Some of my handwriting scribbling away at a lake in Saskatchewan.
My first accidental blemishes to the cover of my Campfire No 10 model Chic Sparrow planner cover were hand washing related and flicking water off my hands some drops on the leather. Will they fade or do I need to use a leather conditioner?
Wonder if there is advice from PaperRepublic, or TN Communities they have?

Here’s a little tour of my Chicsparrow A6 Traveler’s Notebook cascade pockets. I got this back in November of 2020. This leather was called “Alaric” I’ve only conditioned this leather once. It’s aged beautifully. It’s home for my 5 year Hobonichi Techo.
I paired this vintage Sheaffer from the late 30’s or early 40’s with my Chic Sparrow cover. Using a 75 yr old plus pen that feels brand new
Just wanted to share my CS companion for my Weeks planner. The pen loop is snug but a Pelikan 140 snugs in to it.
I was going through my stash, of travelers notebooks, and I came across this totally gorgeous blue leather standard Travelers Notebook that I totally forgot I purchased a couple years ago and I don’t know which leather or version was this. Any thoughts? I’m definitely going to set up for the rest of the year!! #chicsparrow

Has anyone else tried these?
The smell of this leather is intoxicating and it holds over 600 pages in A5. I have a Galen Leather notebook and Rosey LifePlanner inserted at the moment. It also has bands so you can use it like a TN with four notebooks inserted.
The leather pebbling I wanted was less pronounced and they came through on this thicker leather that seems very well made.
The price shipped to Canada was on the high end Premium but it seems to compete well with alternatives out there in my initial opinion when looking at Paper Republic, TN, and a few others.
The snap is not for the faint of heart and it needs a good solid push but I am hoping that means decades of use ahead worry free.
