What actually motivated Neyla?

I understand she wanted immortality but becoming some big metal bird for eternity doesn’t seem like something a young intelligent character like her would really want right?

Most ICONIC MVP Season Ever?

This is subjective and sentimental for most people but I can make a serious case including stats/facts that Russell Westbrook's 2016-17 is the most ICONIC regular season ever. Key words being REGULAR SEASON, not playoffs.

Firstly let me set the scene, the 2016 playoffs have just concluded in heartbreak for the thunder after they blew the 3-1 lead to GSW. Durant and Westbrook played like ass while the Warriors rallied and ultimately came back. Durant played slightly worse and he was the head of the snake with Russ being considered the 2nd option. Later that off-season as we know a bomb dropped, Kevin f---king Durant joined the 73-9 Warriors in free agency leaving OKC with NOTHING! Russ, KD's loyal teammate, first learnt of the BETRAYAL through the news/social media ...

OKC was meant to go into a rebuild after suffering such a big loss but Russ wasn't gonna let that happen. Westbrook embraced the role of OKC's solitary hero in dark times and began the ultimate revenge arc as Brodie refused to let the franchise collapse. In the offseason CJ McCollum jokingly tweeted "Russ about to average a triple double with 30😭😭".

CJ's tweet was prophetic, Russ went on to average 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists for the season. The first player in 55 years (since Oscar Robertson) to average a triple double was a 6'3 point guard leading a roster that had no business being in the playoffs. Russ logged 42 triple doubles that year breaking the record for most triple-doubles in a season. The 42nd record breaking TD came against the nuggets where Russ scored 50/16/10 with 36 foot buzzer beater to eliminate the Nuggets from playoff contention.

Brodie in the Clutch: Russ led the ENTIRE league in clutch scoring (games within 5 under 5 mins left). His PER in clutch time was 50.9 compared to the league average of 15.0. He averaged over 10 points in 4th quarter and constantly snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, time after time after time. More clutch stats and iconic performances here : https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2017/4/11/15261172/russell-westbrook-clutch-highlights-buzzer-beater-mvp

I can honestly go on forever about this season and how much I fucking love Russ but I've decided now I want to hear what the people think about my thoughts and share their own. Who else's season can even compare in both narrative and statistical significance?
