still have mom pooch at 7 months pp (pics are 5 months pp to 6 months pp)

hello! i am breastfeeding, i worked out before and during my pregnancy, and i am working out somewhat consistently now as i stay home with my son. i have lost most of the baby weight and am skinny in my arms and legs, but i still have mom pooch! it gets more prominent throughout the day as i eat. when i tighten my core, it goes away, but as soon as i let go, my gut is distended. i have been doing mommy pooch videos and trying to activate my deep core, but it seems like my lower abs just don’t want to turn on as much as the upper ones. anyone dealing with this?

Take baby to furniture store!!

I always heard that it’s a good activity to get different textures for baby to touch and explore. I took my 6 month old to the furniture store the other day to feel all of the different rugs and carpets and he LOVED it!! The store we went to was the At Home Store specifically. He was straight up giggling touching all of the different rugs! Some were fluffy, some were rough, lots to explore. Definitely recommend!

my boy just turned 5 months and i want to do BLW. i started him with some homemade purées at 4 months via pediatrician recommendation. i’ve been doing some spoon puree, mostly frozen purees and berries in the mesh feeder. well, where do i begin with BLW?

i guess im really just asking for some first BLW food ideas. eggs? meat? how do you cook it? cut it? HELP!!
