I’m a 27-year-old man, and honestly, it feels hopeless. I’ve never had a girlfriend, and at this point I’ve pretty much given up. I tried when I was younger with no luck, and after taking a four-year break, I decided to give it another shot. Still, I get either zero matches or a couple of matches with people I’m completely unattracted to.
I’ve tried multiple apps, but nothing changes. It doesn’t matter how good my bio is or how many photos I take — the results are always the same regardless of the app. I never really tried cold approaching, but since I mostly just work and all of my hobbies are pretty solitary, I don’t even know where to meet people. I don’t like clubs, partying or drinking so that basically eliminates the most common places.
To make matters worse, I’m unfortunately only really able to find my type physically attractive , and that type never seems to like me back. Given my age and lack of experience, I genuinely feel like it’s too late at this point.
