Brine shrimp got in

So I set up an opae ula aquarium recently, had it going for about a week before adding shrimp (I should've waited longer ik), and before I added the shrimp, I noticed young brine shrimp swimming around the brackish water. This aquarium used to be used for brine shrimp, so some eggs must've survived when I emptied out the aquarium and hatched. How long will they be able to survive in the brackish tank and should I just remove them?

Artificial reef

A lot of you are going to find this ugly, and that's fine. Personally I love it, I love how tacky it looks. I recently did a big revamp of my aquarium, including rehoming some fish and bringing in some new ones. Currently has mollies, pristella tetras, corydoras, black kuhli loaches, and a siamese algae eater.

Feel free to hate on it, I like it, the fish seem to not mind it, and that's all that matters.

Accidentally created an ecosystem

For context, I transplanted my lucky bamboo into a vase using aquarium gravel and I water it with aquarium water. Despite it being mostly dry for a few days, all these little critters popped up, including some ramshorn snails.

White stuff growing on angel's eye

Title is pretty self explanatory, the other eye is fine and the fish's behavior is normal. Just checked my parameters and I have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 10 nitrates.

My aquarium

40 gallons, recently got my first canister filter, I plan on removing the sponge in the future, super thrilled with how it's looking. The algae is a bit of an issue on the sides and back of the glass, but I tend to leave it.

My partial glo-aquarium

Has a mix of glo barbs and glo corydoras, with other non glo fish. I only have the blue light for display or before bed, my purple barbs don't seem to glow unfortunately

So I've had this tank running for about 3 weeks now, started with a pre-cycled sponge filter and it's been doing well. Feeding twice a day, 50% water changes once a week, but I noticed some cloudiness in the water today and a small tear on one of my young fantail goldfish's fins. I tested the water quality and got

PH: 7.6

Ammonia: 0

Nitrite: 0

Nitrate: 5ppm

Should I be concerned? The water quality seems fine, the goldfish are acting normally, and the water doesn't have a bad smell to it.
