Help ASD Pin Hinge Concern
Anyone run into issues with the Jakl receiving hinge that comes with the Jakl kit by AS Designs? (Screw was removed after multiple back and forth and frustration)

I’m starting to understand how the mother of my kid feels when it comes to the children.
I just got pair of Anthias a few days ago and I noticed one had a “damaged”scale. Me knowing nothing about fish I thought maybe that’s just the fold where he bends. Looking at it today I believe it’s gotten much bigger over the last few days. There is also a smaller similar concern on his other side.
My Coral Beauty does follow him around but never noticed an attack more than a gesture of “this is my tank”
Can anyone tell me if this is something to be concerned with, what steps would you take if you noticed this?
I’ve had this puffer since Friday. Doesn’t seem interested in feeding time, was hiding on the other side of the tank the last few days, but has been in this corner all day going in circles slowly, and sometimes just resting.
Is this just new home acclamation or should I be worried?
I always feel some type of way when I help people on Reddit and never find out how it all went. So I want to share an update on my tank after reforming all the rocks (I think I like it lol) and didn’t throw any away per recommendations. Reworked my cord management and got all my water levels where needed to be, still at work on the phosphate, taken care of that today.
I wasn’t able to get all the fish that I want just yet, but will take care of that when phosphate levels correct in about two or three weeks
Currently, I have a strawberry pseudo, two scarlet cleaner shrimp, two Picasso clown fish, few additional hermit crabs, and a free coral the shop owner gave me and said to see if it multiplies
Thank you all, kids are finally done asking when we’re getting fish.
Was checking the charging handle of a new ar-12, had a few failures starting with the very first round. I worked through it a good amount of times, then I noticed a crack in the round. Seemed to be about 8 of the 10 rounds show this concern. Second box looks all good so I’m sure it was caused by the failure or maybe even the brand new mag being stiff. But my main question is, can I still shoot these?
*first shotgun by the way*
Long story short…A guy I know gave up on his tank. a lot of really nasty stuff built up. He gave it and a ton of supplies to me. I scraped majority of the insane algae build up, scrubbed the live rock, used about 5 gallons of his old water and got it to this point with new filtered water, got salt levels to 1.025. And let the fluval do its things for a few weeks. added a new skimmer about a week ago for the rest of the nasty die off.
Other than water magically disappearing from the tank I believe I have a decent thing going. Found two crabs running around that I have no idea how they survived.
I don’t run my jet fan as I don’t have enough water to cycle the fan without it hitting the sand bed. Nor do I use the wave makers because it hurts my heart to see this water be anything but clear after I’ve worked so hard.
I plan to add fish in about 2 weeks…but even after all the research I’ve done as a novice I still feel like there’s a journey to go.
So what next? I will take any advice even on rock placement (I kinda just did whatever)
Before anyone comes to inform me…I understand this thing is going to go through hell anyway but as it’s my first rifle purchase and first online firearm purchase I’m curious if this is acceptable for a brand new item that I literally just walked in the house with. Note I could post more pictures but I think the point is made.
My only other experience with firearms are my handguns that all looked pristine.
I got the IOAOI skimmer off Amazon and no matter what I try the capture cup over fills. Im currently running it level one intensity. The controller reads 01 c (not really sure what that means). I have the main body opened all the way and I’m allowing the water to run back in the tank through the outtake so it doesn’t overfill.
Ideally (I think) I want it to where the outtake is closed and the capture cup is only taking foam opposed to water and foam.
