Finished watching Ugly Betty for the first time...

Started it a few months ago sometime and just finished it. Need to vent my annoyance over the ending somehow....so here I am! This is how I wish it would've ended...this is all just my OPINION so dont take it too seriously!

Amanda and Daniel should have ended up together or at the very least Amanda and Daniels brother (they did that guy dirty) So once Daniel saw Amanda getting close to his brother he could've swooped in and realized what he was losing and they could've gotten together officially and she could be an "official stylist" and they should have both stayed at Mode.

The fact that they left it kind of hanging like Daniel may get with Betty pmo because she is way too good hearted and smart for him and he is ran through! He does not deserve her AT ALL! They had the best relationship and they ruined it by implying they get together in the end!

Betty should have ended up with Henry and they ruined it by him having a baby w someone else...BUT they could've redeemed themselves by at least hooking her up w Gio in the end. He was a genuinely good guy and they could be so good together!

Wilhemina...ughh so much to say about her but I will leave it with this...why did the villain of the story get the happy ending? She literally forced a recovering alcoholic to drink, shes just evil.

Anyway overall loved how they ended it with Hilda! But would have loved to see more of Justin and what he got into! Really loved the friendship with him and Marc!

Overall my rating that literally no one has asked for or cares about is 9/10 just because of the way it ended but overall such a great show!

Am I leading my son down the wrong path?

I 37 (f) have one son (20) and ever since he was little I have supported him and always told him he can do anything he wants to in life and to not let fear or others opinions of him hold him back. This has given him a great sense of confidence and he decided to go to college for Theater. When he was in high school he was always the lead or the main character, now in college it has been harder for him to land roles or he is doing a lot of background characters. He has been at college for a little over 2 years now and I am getting concerned because I feel like maybe I am leading him down the wrong path.

I have started to think about what will happen if he doesnt find a way to make a career out of acting, whats his backup, and will he be stuck working some retail job because what can he do with his Theater degree...I don't want to kill his dreams of becoming an actor but I also dont want to set him up for failure or just a low income life. Thoughts?

How to cut off a family member nicely?

I will try to make this as short as possible but about 2 yrs ago I got close to one of my cousins that I didn't know before then. I noticed that she didn't hang w the family much or have many friends. We got pretty close quickly because of our interest in art and we like a lot of similar things. I started noticing weird responses to my wins or things I was proud of, also her morals are really off putting to me. Nothing extreme but she just doesn't seem to care about anyone but herself and says mean things about other people. I could go into detail about more of what I don't like but the whole point is I want to cut it off, I will end up seeing her at family things possibly so I need to be kind about it. I keep making excuses about why I cant hang out and now she sent me a text saying "Hey are you ok? I get the sense you are isolating lately. I could be wrong but I wanted to check in and see. Hope everything is ok"

How do I go about this? The excuses obv aren't working. I know I could just be blunt and address it but I feel like with how she is she will see no wrong in her doing. I just want to quietly cut it off without tons of questions. Anyone with similar stories welcomed!

Gift for Pickler?

Hi all! I have a family member who is big on pickling and making jams and just new recipes. He has a lot of the standard stuff for pickling and jam making but I was thinking maybe someone on Reddit would know a cool or unique gift to give him for pickling or fermenting. Nothing expensive just something like unique lids or stickers for the jars…just trying to find something useful for him and thought this may be a good community to ask!

Week 1 Day 2

New to this and excited to see how this benefits me mentally and physically. Fasting today has been harder than yesterday. I am starving and have like half an hour to go until I can eat, so I am distracting myself on here. Any tips are appreciated!
