Can the store tell me my shift that's a couple of days from now?
It's cuz I got a new phone but I can't access my schedule because I don't have the workspace access code. And I can't access my schedule on my old phone because the piece of shirt ukg app, for weeks now, doesn't work if I'm connected to wifi. I had to turn off my wifi and use my phone's data to see my schedule on my old phone. But now that I have a new phone I obviously don't have data on my old phone, so I can't see my schedule there.
Now my next shift is on Saturday but I don't know at what time. So if I call them on Friday can they tell me at what time my Saturday shift is or so I have to wake up early on Saturday to call and know
PS forgot to add that i tried sending the URL from my old phone to my new one but it doesn't work. It says "Please enter a valid workspace access code or URL."
Lol, I find it funny that I am better than the multimillion dollar RFID system they installed 😂😂
Cuz we've had the system installed and active for a while now. But since launch it always has had problems and lately when you scan something it just doesn't appear. The only way I've found how to search stuff via the tag is thru the camera but it's a multi step process that just takes longer that the simple scan.
And the reason why I say I'm better it's cuz, even before RFID, Since I'm mostly on salesfloor and have the ability to tell where 90% of the stuff is with only one or two rounds of the store. When they're running stuff, a lot of my coworkers ask me where stuff is when they can't find them. And I can tell them "oh thats on x department on the t stands to the right"
So obviamente hice eso.
Is there a protocol for when a customer makes a pickup order but they don't have an id?
So this was a first one. Cuz the other day, a girl went up to me to ask about where to go for a pickup order. So I showed her and went with her and during that she called her mom to come along. Since there wasn't anyone available I started to help them get their order. So I searched her order, either by her phone number or manually looking for her name (don't remember which.
And when we found her order I asked for her id. But the thing is that the one who made the order and put their name was the girl and she was a minor so she didn't have an id.
When that happened mom offered her id and so I looked at it, pretend that was good enough and just risked it and gave them the pickup.
But, now thinking about it, what was I supposed to do. Is there a SOP for cases like this?
How to men's 90s loose jean fit after a couple wears and washes?
Like do they keep their shape and fit? Or do they shrink or stretch? It's cuz I recently bought both two pairs of men's 90s loose jeans in different sizes cuz last time I bought my size it was a bit too big. And again my size is a bit loose but the smaller size is just a hair tight (like it's not uncomfortable but I can feel a bit of tightness around the waist band.
So I wanted to know other peoples experiences to see if that hair of tightness will stay, or go away
Esta vio a Mamdani corriendo bicicleta por las calles de New York, vio como lo amaban los New yorkers y pensó que iba a pasarle lo mismo si se iba de paseo
Dang, so ON is making us do a job related thing for basically a couple bucks.
So we got our schedule and when I checked them, I saw one that was only 2 hours long. So I was gonna dispute it on my next shift but a couple hours later they sent a message explaining that that shift was an all store reunion to explain the new RFID stuff. And the shift is at 9PM on a Sunday. And the reunion is compulsory.

And like, at my store, a lot of my coworkers are students. Especially now since school's out and they're hiring for summer jobs. And like a lot them don't have cars, so they take public transit to get to the store. I'm not a student but I don't have a car so I also use public transit. And the thing is that over here, public transit doesn't work on Sundays and even if it did, they don't work until that late at night. So me and all my coworkers that depend on public transit to get around are basically gonna have to take an Uber to get to and from the store that night. So technically like half or even more of the money we would get for those two hours at that reunion are gonna be spent on the Ubers and Lyft to get to that meeting.

God, why couldn't they just make a video explaining the stuff like all the other training videos they show us.
Bluray player says "Mismatch between disc and player region codes. See disc package for details." But both the Bluray disc and player are the same region
I recently bought Scarlet on Bluray and when I got it I tried to play it, but I got a blue screen that said "Mismatch between disc and player region codes. See disc package for details." But I saw the packaging and both the disc and my player are region A.
So I searched on the internet and found out that it could have been mislabeled. So I sent it back and asked for a new one, but I got the same message. So I search some more on the internet and found that it could be that my player needed a firmware update. So I went thru that and I still get the same message. I had to updated thru the USB method because I don't have an Ethernet cable to connect the player.
So I don't know what else I could do. Anyone ever gotten something like this?

My player is a Sony BDP-S1700
I made carrot cake muffins with cream cheese frosting. And my mom said I put to much frosting on them. What do you think?

Cream cheese frosting

With my size of muffin trays I can stretch out the batter to around 12-13 muffins.
When I made the frosting a little bit less than half got left over so I think half of the recipe would be enough to cover the muffins
manager seaming to be ignoring when people ask for their 15s
So I don't have any proof other than my experience and I've talked with other co-workers and they seem to be having similar stuff. Cuz there's one manager that whenever they are LOD I have to ask them multiple times over the walkie if I can take my 15 minute break. and sometimes whenever they do respond they have comment or something to say like "but your leaving the women's department alone" or "I don't have anyone else to cover your area while your gone" bitch, its 9am on a Tuesday and theres only 4 customers on the whole floor, nothings gonna happen if I go away for 15 minutes. Also, whenever I see them and go to them to ask them directly if I can take my 15, it's like they can read my mind and know I'm gonna do that. So even before I can say a word they start telling me stuff to do. "OP go run this to women's", "OP go pick up some go backs", etc. and there's been times when they taken so long to respond that I just give up asking because we've reached the point where there's only one hour left on my shift and if I keep asking they will say "sorry OP but there's only one hour left of your shift so I can't let you go" or "you can only take a 10 minute break instead" so I just end up not taking my 15.
And a reason why I think they're ignoring when people ask for their 15s is because there's been times when I ask for my 15s and, literally, a couple seconds later that manager tells some spleech about not having made enough cards lately or giving some order via the walkies, or vice versa (they say their spleech and I ask for my 15 a couple seconds later). like you just used or are about to use your walkie, you can't tell me that you didn’t hear me. And now, I'm reaching the point that if that manager is LOD I'm gonna be asking them 3 times and, if after the third time, they haven't responded in a minute, then I’m just gonna go by myself. Because like, all I'm asking for is communication. Cuz I dont have to take my break at the LITERAL moment I ask it, I can wait but fucking talk to me like "sorry op, could you wait until x comes back from their lunch break", "ok OP, let me see who can cover for you while youre gone", etc. and then we can go on from there. Because if you don’t say anything then the obvious thing for me to think is that you’re ignoring me.
Also an example I know of a coworker is that, the other day, a coworker that was in the fitting rooms was asking if they could go take their 15s but we didn't hear anything from the manager over the walkies and that coworker asked multiple times. then it seems like they gave up on asking for their 15s and instead started asking if they could go to the ten. which IDK if it's the same in other stores but at our store that means they're asking to go to the bathroom. and still no answer. So what ended up happening was that another manager (don’t know if it was that they were hearing this over the walkies or passing by the fitting rooms, or whatever) told the LOD that they were putting someone else in the fitting room while the FR coworker went to the 10. And the manager that said ok wasn't the one that was being asked originally for the 15s it was another manager because at the same time of this happening, the LOD switch was happening. Which maybe you could blame for not hearing the FR coworker asking for the 10, but when they were originally asking for their 15s it was way before the LOD change. Plus, later in the shift I saw the FR coworker and asked them if they ended up taking their 15s and they said no.
Idk what formula I should use to solve this problem I came up with.
So the problem starts with you having 5.8 trillion dollars. And you decided that you want to split it between you and all the members of your future generations by giving each person 100 million each. And for the sake of this, let's say that each generation only doubles. So you get 100 million, then you have two kids and each of them gets 100 million each, then each of them have 2 kids (So 4 grandchildren) and each of them gets 100million, etc.
What I want to figure out is how many generations we will reach before we run out of the 5.8trillion dollars.
(P.S. I don't know a lot about math so I put calculus as the flair but if there's a more appropriate flair for it lmk)
