People here and on the internet speculate that there is some kind of a paycheck for the celebrities, has this been confirmed by anyone? If yes, what amount of money are we talking here?
First of all, both books are just copies of what the writers already did - Shroud is Children of Time only instead of spiders it's whatever the Shrouded were, and A Drop of Corruption continues the good ole Attack on Titan storyline. Sorry, I meant the Tainted Cup story.
Both books seem lazy in how they were written, Drop follows the same narrative as the first one, only now you have another murder /mystery to investigate, and Shroud is so lazy, there were parts of the book where if you replace the Shrouded with spiders it was the same as Children of Time. I even thought this was in the same universe.
On top of all the "hommages" these two books rely on, what truly disappointed me was Tchaikovsky. Such an intelligent man just writing the same story as before. For Bennett, I knew he had a lot of "hommages" to Attack on Titan, and when I read that book I just thought where he stole, I mean borrowed the idea from .
Not sure who will win this year, but I've read all the Hugo winners, and some were stinkers, some were fantastic (looking at you Lord of Light, I still think about you at night you know) , but these are oh boy. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who is limited on time.

I've jad the basil plant for about two months now, and noticed these small spots on the keaves a week or two ago. They started growing and spreading on more leaves, but I was out of town and ehen I got back this is what I found on about 8 or so leaves. Not sure if this is thrips or something else, so decided to ask here for an advice. Thank you.
Hello everyone! First of all this is not a ragebait post, I genuinely wanted to see if I'm missing something about hlthe level design of the game. I'm a huge GW 2 fan, been paying it since 2012, and now that GW1 reforged came out, I wanted to go back and see all the cool historical locations, how certain events happened etc. And the game is pretty interesting, I love the graphics, how the missions are structured, how the upgrade system works etc.
The only (massive?) problem is the level/ map design. You can't jump so the design is that much more important, and I get confused and lost easily. The maps also feel samey so I sometimes even get back to where I started. Googled this but there were no massive complaints about this so I don't understand ,is it me ? For example now I got to the mission where the prince tells you to nlsneak on the enemy, he says go on the path east and sneak on them. I went there walked for maybe half an hour and got back to himm Then started again got lost completely. I don't want to stop playing the game and haven't had this issue before with any game
Is there some trick you do , or is it just easu for you to fin ls your way? I know there is a waypoint but it's useless for me since the map doesnt show where I can go, it's more of a spot as to where to go but I get lost on the way there.

Hello everyone, I hope you will be able to help me with the conflicting information I've been getting online regarding characters and how they work in POE 1 and 2.
My idea was to create a ranger, but I want to play him with guns, rifles and such. So that is the reason I'm going with that kind of class. Not sure if I should invest in different stats because it would be different than the usual bow and arrow. Another question I have is for the turn based mode - online people say that you should completely ignore dexterity since it doesn't do anything in TB. Is that right or not? Specifically for a character who'd use guns. I plan on importing the choices into POE 2 and playing the same character - ranger who uses guns. Any other tip would be appreciated. I'm playing BG 2 EE with an imported sorcerer from BG 1 EE. Everything was fine , I've played BG 2 EE for maybe ten hours or so. All of a sudden, the level 4 spells disappeared and when I went to see the mage book, it had 0/0 spells can cast. And I've cast both these spells, especially stoneskin I always had it on.
Not sure what happened, I tried quicksaving and quickloading, changing the UI size, loading from a previous save. Is this a bug or?

EDIT: Thank you to all, I was vampire drained by a character that I don't want to spoil, I was so focused on an item I get soon after, I didn't even check the status of my character. Thank you for helping me, I used restoration and it's now back to normal.
I have a 43 inch tv, and the room in which I watch movies/ shows is pretty small (about 5x4 meters ) . Been looking for a budget offer, and this one seemed to pop out as an option. Wanted to ask the people here, do you have any experiences with this soundbar? Thank you in advance.
