I never heard of these until Russ’ video. I get that it’s the same owner as Anbernic so all the reviewers have them now. I feel like if the Monks were such a bargain hidden gem, I would’ve heard of them by now. I’m not a big time audiophile by any means, but I tend to pay attention to the cheap stuff (Koss). I was thinking of picking up a pair on AliExpress for $10 but after $6 shipping they’re basically in wired Apple earbuds territory. Anyone have any experience with anything from VE?
I was just catching up on RH’s live stream from last night. I have that AliExpress grip for the Slide. It’s great but it is a bit slippery. I got some Xbox controller grip tape by ExtremeRate on Amazon. I had to trim it in a couple spots but it feels awesome in the hand. I also put some Switch stick replacement covers from Skull & Co (not the caps, the covers that are meant to sit on the bare plastic) on the sticks and they’re great. They’re tighter than the included ones, grippy, and they sit low enough for the screen to still do its thing.

What happened to the 406h? It’s sparse on AliExpress and super expensive. It’s completely sold out on the Anbernic website. It never even really went down in price. After giving up hope we’ll ever see the 4.7” screen in a similar body type, I am ready to buy. But now I can’t find any that are reasonable priced.
Thinking about getting a Flip 2. Should I get an Ice Blue for hinge durability or is the newer design enough to be safe?
I'm trying to decide between these single lens cameras and can't really tell the difference. They're all priced within $10 of each other.
