I’m usually a portrait shooter but I tried out shooting in a pub called Rockcafe Brown Sugar in Nuremberg. I brought with me a fellow student as an assistant shooter to capture the energy and mood of the concert. Tell me what u think :)

Hey guys,

This wednesday is my first "concert" shooting ever. I’m going to a small bar in my hometown. They’re on an open stage where different small musician (mostly singer songwriters) are doing their first performances. I know "lens selection" is kinda question for beginners but I’m not into concert photography AT ALL lol. It’s not just me bc a friend of mine is capturing the atmosphere of the eve with the 35mm f/1.4. I’m using my Z9 and now I got the question: Which lens should I use for shooting portraits of the artists with instrument/ mic.
