sleeping at the airport

I had a 10 hour layover in Guadalajara, Mexico. I was one of three passengers that found some corner of the waiting area to spend the night. It was comforting to know that I wasn't alone. When the nearby breakfast place opened, the smell of eggs and coffee was a nice wakeup call. That being said, I didn't enjoy it and I felt dirty waking up in a small airport. I wondering how many nomads out have slept at the airport. Has anyone been woken up by security?

I see Chinese money everywhere in El Salvador. They financed the new library, the new dock in La Libertad, and the football stadium currently in the works. I see several Chinese stores with cheap Chinese products and billboards for Chinese electric cars everywhere. The Chinese don't give money away for free -- do you worry there's too much Chinese influence in El Salvador?

As a foreigner in El Salvador, my impressions of the Salvadorean people are warm, friendly, and generous. The one caveat that I noticed is that Salvadoreans will cut in front of you in line if you don't guard your space. Older ladies at the market and at the bus stop will slip in front of you in a millisecond. I talked to surfers and they told me that Salvadorean surfers will jump in front of your wave without any apologies. I am wondering if cutting in line is just the norm or something that's only acceptable to do to foreigners.
