Looking for collaborators for a research paper in AI / data science

Hello everyone,

I am a computer science student working on applied AI projects, particularly in machine learning, computer vision, and data-driven systems for real-world use cases.

I am currently looking for students and researchers who would be interested in collaborating on a research paper. The objective is to produce work that is both academically solid and practically relevant, with potential for submission to workshops, conferences, or online research platforms.

We are open to defining the exact topic together, but current directions of interest include:

* Applied machine learning for real-world problems (especially in developing contexts)

* Predictive modeling for business and economic systems

* Computer vision applications in security, education, or industry

* AI-driven decision support systems

What I am looking for:

* Students (Bachelor / Master / PhD) or independent researchers

* Strong interest in AI, ML, or data science

* Ability to contribute technically or theoretically

* Commitment to a serious collaborative effort (remote)

The idea is to build a small, focused research group and work step by step toward a publishable result.

If you are interested, feel free to comment or send a DM with a short introduction (your background + interests).

Rate my site

I built this website and I’d like honest feedback on the design and clarity.

I want to know:

• Is the goal of the site clear quickly?

• Does the design look professional and trustworthy?

• Is anything confusing in the layout or navigation?

• If you had to rate the design out of 10, what would you give it and why?

Looking for hackathon

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new here. I'm looking for platforms, specific subreddits, or active calendars that list weekend hackathons (especially online ones focused on Web Dev, Software Engineering, and AI). Does anyone know a place where there's a match or a competition happening basically every weekend? Thanks!

If Anyone Can Build an App Now, What Actually Matters Anymore?

Now that almost anyone can code and build apps using AI, what will actually make the difference in the next 5–10 years?

If coding is becoming commoditized, where does the real value move?

* Vision?

* Distribution?

* Taste/design?

* Understanding human psychology?

* Brand/community?

* Execution speed?

* Trust?

In a world where anyone can build, what becomes truly rare?

Hey, I need a female perspective on something

There’s a girl at my university that I’ve liked for a few months. We usually just say hi, nothing too deep.

Today I saw her alone, so I went to talk to her. We had a normal conversation, I asked what she was doing, she told me she had a presentation earlier. Then I came back later and talked to her again about an art/painting event my friends are organizing. I asked if she likes painting, and she said yes and seemed interested.

At some point, I asked for her phone, and she gave it to me without hesitation. I put my number in her phone (so I gave her my number, I didn’t take hers).

She seemed comfortable the whole time, not awkward or anything.

But now it’s been hours and she hasn’t texted me, and I’m overthinking a lot.

From your perspective, does that usually mean she’s not interested, or could it just be that she didn’t take the initiative to text?
